What does CPM mean in terms of earnings?

    What does CPM mean in terms of earnings?

    I know it means "cost per thousand" but what does it tell me about my hub? So when it says $3.61 CPM, what does that mean exactly?

    I too am very confused about the issue but my understanding is  that CPM is cost per thousand impressions, so when it says CPM $3.61, it means that you stand to earn 3.61 if you get a thousand impressions (0.36 if you get only hundered, 0.036 if you get 10, $36.10 if you get ten thousand impressions etc.) However what confuses me is when it keeps changing and sometime it says CPM $0.00 which, I'm assuming, means that you will not be earning anything even if you get five hundered thousand impressions!

    You should post this question in the forum sections as well, so that there can be a discussion about it.
