How is it that my hubscore dropped from 89 to 74 in less than a day? Any reason for this? Anyone that can tell me why and how this is possible?

Mine do it all the time. I had a hub that was top for ages and hit 96. I did not do a thing to it and still had the same traffic but it fell off the edge of a cliff and hit 70. No reason why it would. It's picking back up now but I have noticed others are dropping off. Strange how they do that to such a vast degree.

It really caught me by surprise though. My score has never dropped to this extent. i mean, from 89 to 74 .... Come on LOL
I hope it picks right back up again.

They do it all the time, I reckon its about keywords, I have worked on other Sites where you are able to see how keywords relate to your various scores. But Hubpages Hubs generally start at around 50, well mine do and work their way up, so I guess activity makes a difference, and wether the activity is regular enough. Its something everyione would love a correct answer to.
Wghatever your stuff is great so don't think about it. It seems uncontrollable.

Thank you very much. Your advice is appreciated. I was thinking it might have something to do with activity. On publicayion, i run from 50 to where it usually esculates. So i am not going to stress too much.

If you are quite active in the Forums it seems to bump it up too, I think it is a mix of the following.
          Good hubs
          traffic to them
          Keywords that get you noticed.
          fans
Forum posts that bring you to the attention of other Hubbers.Hopefully this one may help your score, it brought you to my attention.

Scores fluctuate.  Sometimes I have several Hubs hovering in the 95 - 100 range, and a few days later my highest score is 90.

Don't stress it, it doesn't affect your earnings.

Unless you've done something silly, like posted a Hub full of duplicate content or included too many links in one Hub - yes it will go up again.

I write all my content myself. Only links i have in is about 3 or 4 per hub, just directing to another hub on the same topic.

I assume you mean 3 or 4 per hub, directing to other Hubs.  I'm not sure that multiple links to one Hub would trigger an overly promotional penalty, but I suppose it's possible.

Ah the mysteries of the mysteriouse hub score. It's so weird isn't it? My hubscore is up and down like a yoyo, I am usually around a 92 but it could fall to 89 or jump to 96 in a heart beat, I am still trying to figure it out. I have as yet to get higher then 96.
