Hub climbing before published?
How is it possible for my hub to begin to climb in the ratings before it's published. I have one that's already at 57 but isn't published yet.
Hubs just do this. If you wait a little while it will climb even higher.
Each time you log in and out to edit the hubscore begins to rise. It happens to me all the time. I do not finish a hub in one sitting.
piggybacking on missolive's answer, your page views are counted in your hub stats, and traffic is one of the factors that increases (or decreases) your hubscore. I had 6 page views before I even published a hub and wondered how this could be; then I realized I'd previewed it several times during the writing process.
That makes sense. Thanks for the data! I'll find something else to be confused about now.
haha liftandsoar nice answer - I was a bit too late to answer this but would surely love to help you with your next confusion
I had no idea that logging in and out caused the hub stats to increase. That's very interesting. Thanks.

I really don't mind, terribly. They seem to vote them up, even before I've finished with them. The last Hub I published I was a few days working on, and it had over 20 views and a HubScore of like, 70, before I posted...

This really isn't a problem, but rather something I am interested in finding out. I have a few unpublished hubs with little to no content in them, and the thing is, one of these hubs outranks one of my published hubs! I...

When I first publish a hub it usually starts with a hubscore in the 40’s, occasionally low 50’s. I don’t care, it’s never bothered me because I know they slowly work their way up. However, my last hub that I...
