What advise might you have for writers who use Ebay to showcase products?
Hi - thank you for your question to me. My first question back to you would be in relation to the items you are writing about. What types or products do you showcase? Its all about research and accuracy I believe. If its clothing, add measurements. If its antiques or furniture for example you need to add as much detail as possible including era, damage, specifics.
Searches on eBay are generally conducted via the title only....unless the user selects title and description therefore title descriptions are really key.
You will have to respond with a hub since hubpages only allows us to answer a question once...In my case I primarily just write an article about something like cleaning fish tanks but I may add an ebay capsule to the hub or even an amazon capsule to the hub but I have never sold anything through either place. So what I would like to know is how you would incorporate the use of ebay capsules or amazon capsules into an information based hub and sell via your writing. I am not sure if I am explaining myself well here but it is another testimony to the fact Ebay and amazon are mysteries to me....
I agree with you. I add both amazon and ebay every hub I write, but nothing has ever sold and I spend some time choosing ads that are relevant to my writing, so I wonder whether it is worth adding them, but then I keep hoping that maybe I'll sell something. We'll have to wait until someone solves the mystery for us.

While placing ads on hubs, such as Amazon and eBay, how many ads can we choose?I have seen many hubs having more than two ads, whereas when I choose I have options only upto 2, both for Amazon and eBay.

Suggest a new feature:The ability to showcase eBay daily deals within the eBay capsules.Due to the nature of the majority of my hubs the eBay capsules are something like little curiosity shops, this worked fine prior to the new 'quality price click whatever-it's-called', as I was just fishing for...

eBay is changing its affiliate scheme in October and there is one HUGE change which has been sneaked in.Their cookie is now a 24-hour cookie, same as Amazon. For Hubbers, that makes eBay effectively worthless and I strongly recommend you remove your eBay capsules! Amazon will now be a...

I planned to use ebay capsule on most of my hubs because they pay per click. As I don't have alot of traffic on my hubs and there are only 4-5 clicks per day on ebay capsules, but my EPC is always zero. I can't understand that whether it is natural or not..Is there any change in ebay policy? Are...
