Is it illegal to post ingredients of a prominent sports drink, for example? I certainly don't know how much of each ingredient to add and they would only be taken from the label available on the product itself...
But I'm wondering if it's legal? I'm thinking of creating a hub where I list out the ingredients of a sports drink...
You should be fine. Here in Europe they are legally obliged to list the ingredients. Aren't they in the US?
I would think that you could only get in trouble if you somehow obtained proprietary information and disclosed that. If you are reproducing material that has been released to the public, well... it's already been released to the public.
I figured as much, but thanks for the confirmation. It's public information so it should be legal...now we'll have to see if they complain about it when the hub is up.
