We've had a problem on our primary stats machine this morning. We're working on getting it fixed. In the mean time, you won't be able to access the statistics and traffic graphs for individual hubs.
Are the stats on the "my account" page also affected? I ask because I've seen no change in stats on that page since the individual Hub stats were disabled.
No problem, stuff happens. For myself I'd rather you folks fix it right than fast...but that's just me. (BTW, I really like it here! This is a great site...and you put up with ME too! Wow!)
Thank you for the info. You might find it interesting to know that the entire internet network which I use here in Maine, went down for most of the day. They got everything back up and running about 2 hours ago eastern standard time.
No biggie. The only time anyone notices ME here is when I accidentally cross a line and break a rule I admittingly didn't take time to read. So it's okay. NP.
Thanks for letting us know. I logged in and tried looking at stats, and all of them were disabled, even on specific Hubs. Will we be able to see the stats later from people that look at our page now, while stats are disabled?
Thanks for the immediate update, Paul. It helps to know the posse is already all over this and retells the ago-old story where Hubpages runs an a-one site.
Ah, I just came to this forum to check because my latest hub said Stats Disabled, then I finally realized all the stats were disabled. Thanks for the info.
I think we all appreciate such information from HP, Paul. It is fantastic to feel the team in San Francisco is interactive-not the norm on other sites!
Being able to view my stats is a great help when it comes to promotional tactics... I love this feature about HubPages !!! It helps me understand which topics I need to focus on while they are hot... LOL Hope the problem isn't too bad...
Stats are up 99.9999999% of the time so no worries, it's been a .0000001% kind of day for me all the way around so all I have to say about it is tommorrow will be better, lol!
The backup machine is almost caught up, so we should be able to start reprocessing later tonight. If everyone goes well the stats should be back to normal in 12-15 hours.
Are the hub ratings going to be reset to their previous values? Some of my hubs had a 99-100 rating before this stats debacle. Since the stats were disabled, they've dropped to around 90. I'm pretty sure the stats being disabled caused this to happen. Can we get a restore on the hub ratings?
Hopefully it's nothing major - just an easy fix.. Maintaining a website is never easy, especially one of this size. Kudos to everyone who keeps us all up and running! Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks Mr.Paul. I checked that my stats are disabled from this morning. I was looking for some information but I couldn't find anything. Suddenly I saw this forum post that help me to lower down my tensions. Thanks again.
THanks for the info. I quit everything else and now NO STATS!?! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok, i'm better now
