Just curious, how much have my fellow hubbers made off adsense on their hubs?
So far I have made $23.96
That's pretty good.
I have made 0.86 cents on my Blogger.com profile.
So far, I'm just a few days old.
Hardly made a dime yet!
wow, you've made that much already? i've only made like freaking $1.26 cents so far on this site.
Yeah I know, I was pretty much in shock when I saw that much in my adsense account! I guess my hubs are getting lots of traffic
Well I have had one payout of $100 (about £69 UK pounds), from Adsense, £2.96 from ebay, and zero from Amazon. No longer bother using amazon or ebay on my hubs, and definitely not Kontera. Mainly relying on Adsense now, plus experimenting with Affiliate links which so far have accumulated to about $50 in three months, so quicker than any other revenue sources I have been working with.
I have not checked my Adsense acccount for many months, so for all I know I might be due another pay out any time now, but just enjoy the surprise of seeing it turn up in my bank account, (like the last one did about a year ago).
If it helps with your quest to know about income etc, I get about 800 to 1000 viewings per day across my total hubs.
Lady, you better check your Adsense account because with these many pageviews on hubpages, you can reach adsense payout within 2-3 months, so why not check if there is a problem with money transfer or something.
I am quite confused about affliates links. I thought only Amazon, Ebay and Kontera. How do we use clickbank or linkworth in our hubs? Advice would be appreciated. Thanks
You are allowed two outbound links in your hub, not including the above affiliates. You can use those two links for whatever you like, including clickbank etc.
I am new with such stuff, so thanks. I shall read more about how to do them, unless some kind soul will enlighten me how to do it here. Thanks
you can have 200000000000 outbound links if you like, only 2 outbound links per DOMAIN.
They also seem to notice to many affiliate links regardless of domain (prob by the tracking numbers) and give you a warning, t you can still publish, it just informs you that you could be flagged
hmm...so just participating in forums makes money. hmm....
I see most people are much interested on other earning. I think it makes people sharing with others and also increase inspiration to publish and earn more money
I've made $93 so far. I'll make my first payout in a couple of days.
Well, I haven't earned enough to retire to the sun on my tropical island just yet!
About $200 in 4 months. Currently earning at a rate of about $130 a month though (last couple of weeks).
Im surpised that you still have a hubpages account after 3 months though to be honest. Born in 1994? Look about 15? I would stay off of the forums if I were you....
$234 Adsense
$334 eBay
$18 Amazon
Total = $586
Like Mark said, not enough to retire on, but enough to buy myself something nice with, I'm thinking it could pay for a pretty good holiday each year if it carries on at this rate (or increases).
Mark didnt say that, and Mark probably wouldnt say that either
lol, sorry about that you're right it was 'CMHypno', the avatar looked similar (without looking at it very clearly), whoops, did think that was odd, I'm sure Marks sunning himself on a tropical island as we speak.
Either way, I'm quite happy with the returns I've made from writing an article or two of nonsense several times a week.
ryankett, Mark did say something of that kind in a very, very, very good hub he wrote about how to maximize your profit without diminishing the quality of your hubs. He was warning people who wanted this income to replace their main source of income not to expect too much too soon, and sharing over three years' worth of experience about what works and what doesn't.
I read that hub and don't think Mrvoodoo was making any slam at Mark or implying any promise from Mark.
Mark's a very upfront guy and tells the truth about these things. All the hubbers have profitted from his in-depth knowledge.
I know, I think you may have misunderstood. Mrvoodoo thought that CMHypno on this thread was Mark Knowles because of the similar avatar. And I was just having a joke about Mark earning a fair bit of money, although of course not enough to retire.
Me just 29 dollars, in two months I applied for Adsense 2 months late whew... Not bad I think...
Wow Mrvoodoo you have nice figures you have there...
Thanks GeneralHowitzer, I'm quite happy with them, but I'm pretty sure that I'm still small-fry compared to what some others earn here.
And you're doing great yourself, especially if you've only had Adsense for 2 months, keep making those hubs and you'll reach payout in no time at all.
Count your blessings some haven't earn a payout even after many months of doing hubs the culprit could be the lack of numbers of hubs they have... I think its numbers game here with putting premium work with hubs made... You're earnings is indeed very well although there are other hubbers here with great earnings as you stated earlier...
Thanks General, you're right, I shouldn't take these pennies from heaven for granted. I agree that it's a numbers game, although there is a minimum level of quality required with each one, I've taken the route of making lots of OK hubs, rather than a few great hubs.
Race you all to a 1000 (semi-decent) hubs.
Gotta go feed my friends dogs, bye for now,
Nice tips my friend yeah its the traffic that counts and with army of hubs great or semi decent you can have slice of the page views that will eventually gives a hubber the much coveted clicks... No wonder you earned well given the time while saving precious energy and time... Okies... bye then hope you'll read this though...
After 8 months Adsense has finally accepted me, but I don't think they are putting their ads on my hubs. Mind you, I have no idea what adsense on hubs look like anyway. Could someone please check one of my hubs and let me know if I have adsense on them? Maybe there's something more I should have done for them to show.
You do, it's the blue link adverts that usually say 'ads by Google' under them and image adverts also.
However these may still show for HP if you haven't entered your Adsense ID, but if you've entered your Adsense ID in your 'my account' affiliate settings then all should be fine.
Gotta go now, but I'm sure somebody else will be along to answer your question in a little more depth if this hasn't.
Go to "my account" on your home page and the "affiliate settings" you should see your AdSense number in the little box under "affiliate code". If it's there and it's the right one you should get paid, if it's not the ads will still appear but you won't get your cut.

Let me be honest with you, I joined Hubpages in the hope that I will be able to earn some extra income to supplement my college expenses. I know there is no such thing as easy money and I shouldn't expect to live off my earnings on hubpages. But, If I get a good number of my hubs featured, how much...

Well I would like to have two seperate Hubpages Accounts on hubpages. One would be specific to a topic and a second would be about different stuff. I was wondering if this is aloud, and also if you can link both accounts to the same google adsense if you just type that same code into both affiliate...

Basically, I mean that us hubbers put countless hours of work into writing one quality hub after another which in turn increases hubpages revenue, which allows them to enjoy the fruits of its writers dedication and labor. I know writing on hubpages is presented to us like hubpages is doing all us...

I was just wondering because I'm beginning to have trouble keeping track of all of my hubs and it will just get worse.

I just stumbled across this place and the only information I really ascertained was that 60% of add revenues, but that doesn't really help me since I don't know what it is 60% of, so, how much money does someone typically earn from a good hub? Thanks and sorry for the potential obviousness of...
