Do you find it easy to write or do you sometimes feel like you have no motivation?

Do you want to write, but can't, not feel well, writers block, lack of motivation, not sure if you want a hot topic, story, poem to write about....what gets you to write?

I tend to go through phases. I will either have total writer's block and it will continue for a while (usually if I am stressed or busy at work) or I will have idea after idea. It just comes naturally, I don't know how.

When something comes to you, write it down! It doesn't matter where you are. Then when you have some quiet time, write your article. With Hubpages, you can write hubs that answer questions or use the weekly inspiration topic. If you have a few ideas, write a hub on each! Just don't lay the pressure on yourself.

It depends on the day and what I have been currently thinking about.  Maybe a topic I want to write about needs more research, or perhaps I just need to put thoughts on paper (figuratively speaking).

I get motivation from interacting with other hubbers, reading the news, or reading a thought-provoking book.

I find it easy to write, but am always trying to find time to write.  I have very little of that.

For me, writing is easy once I've gotten started, its the problem of finding motivation sometimes to get focused on writing.  Like Emma Harvey, sometimes I come across great topics for hubs that I might start later.  I always keep a small notebook and pen handy to jot them down so I can remember them later, when I can get myself motivated that is!

Yes I can definately feel all of those things. At times I can't seem to get enough time in the day to write all I want to write. Other days, I'm the opposite. I really have to force myself to get to the keyboard and work. Thankfully I have much more motivated days than I do off days, so it's not really that much of a problem. I've learned to accept that sometimes I will feel off, de-motivated, un-inspired, bored or whatever. If I can manage not to have to write for a day or so then that's great as it brings back the old spark and energies. If I have to work, then I do it in short bursts with plenty of breaks in between and this does help to get me through the down times.

Sometimes I feel motivated to write. But sometimes it feels boring. But that is the advantage of hubpages also. You can work as you like

I think that yes, it's normally when I'm in the middle of certain pieces of work, the writers block can really rub off.  I find it easier to write when it's about something new and I have a lot of information at my disposal.  I find the best way to get my motivation back is overcoming the obstacles that took it away in the first place.

It depends on the topics - if I am eager to write something, it flows easily.  But if the topic is a drag (something that I had to write but have little interest in), I can lose motivation and I have to force myself to write it anyway.

Lately, I feel that I have had not enough time to spend on hubs as I would like. When I do sit down to write a hub, my mind goes blank. There has been so much going on in my life that I have had no motivation. I am going away on holiday this week, so hopefully I will return refreshed with lots of ideas. I will be taking my notebook with me and will jot down anything that I think of while I am away.
