Please help me I am trying to get my adsense account open but seem to be constantly hitting barriers, the latest is as follows

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

    Issues:

    - Domain ownership not evident

    ---------------------

    Further detail:

Domain ownership: To complete our review, we need to confirm your
ownership of the site you've submitted. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Access the source code of www.hubpages.com.
    2. Create a separate page on the site and paste "This post confirms my
ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program
    policies and Terms and Conditions."
    3. Resubmit the application as described below after replacing
www.hubpages.com in the 'Website URL' with the URL of the page where you
    have pasted the snippet.

AARGHHH what does this mean can anyone explain this in real people language??

I think you need to use this URL: http://hubpages.com/profile/robboz

    I agree with darkside.

Plug in http://hubpages.com/profile/robboz wherever you had originally entered www.hubpages.com.

To make them really happy, put "This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions" at the very beginning of your profile info. (Before "Moved from Britain to Northern Australia last year with family.")

You can remove that blurb from your profile page after your AdSense application has been approved.

    Good luck! smile

phone calls from google?  how did you sign up?  I've never received phone calls from google.

don't answer the phone. I never answer unless I know the person. I  let calls go to voicemail. more times than not, there is no message left meaning it was nonsense.

I just want them to like me.

I'm in Australia so if they phone me I'll be really angry as it will be the middle of the noght, I'm not too good at conversations in the middle of the night

I've never, ever had a phone call from Google or Adsense - I'd be guessing it's some kind of scam.

I agree, something's fishy. I've never had a single call from either one.
