Do you use Hubpages as a source of income or for entertainment and amusement?
What's your motivation for writing hubs or asking and answering questions?
Of course i write hubs for the income. Besides income iam getting a pleasure while my hubs are visited by people
Hubpages is time investment before you will ever see reasonable amount of money from them. However, what a wonderful way of building up a port folio! I am learning so much by being a part of Hubpages. What motivates me to write is the fact that hubbers are reading my stuff and I get feedback!
Since I haven't made much income, it's a good thing that I do HubPages for entertainment/amusement.
I enjoy writing on HubPages and sharing information and my experiences. I also enjoy reading about the advice and experiences of all of the other Hubbers.
Since I haven't yet been approved for a Google Adsense Account, I guess I do it for entertainment and amusement. While I will always write on HubPages because I enjoy it, hopefully, someday, it will also be as a source of income.
For both! I am so thrilled now that I know how to make money thru writing. The last time, I joined some sites (no earnings) just to get my poem published.. I really enjoyed writing and sharing ideas with other people.
Entertainment and amusement. I am interested in the questions people have posted. Also, I use hubpages to help my self-esteem. When I need something to do, I just jump on my profile. It is also to force me to write on a weekly basis. If I don't write constantly, I want to write but have more writer's block.
A bit of both, haven't made any income and it may take a long time to as well. As for answering questions I just enjoy it, same with writing hubs. It's a nice community for the most part which helps too.

I have been on HubPages only for two months. I did not think that "Asking & Answering Questions" was a complicated matter. But I have come across a question that if you ask a question and then answer it with your own hub, it is "faking it". My understanding was...

2:25 p.m., Oct. 7Hi, friends. I am desperate. I will be brief. I need your help, any help. I am talking about my lack of interest in my hubs which feature Amazon items. I have used every slice of advice from HP and my hubs do not get featured because of ONE thing: Spammy Things. These two...

I was on another thread and someone said many people sign up on HubPages, but very few go on to write a substantial number of quality Hubs.I wonder why this is and what HubPages can do to encourage people to stay on and improve their Hubs, which seems to be what they want. All my Hubs were recently...
