Ive just seen a new hub with a porno picture.  She is showing all her genitalia.  Is this allowed?

Going on a 'fanning' spree of new hubbers is going to keep your hubberscore down, in case you have ever wondered why your hubberscore is 20 less than everybody elses...... this is likely to be affecting your traffic quite significantly...

Oh, I just wanted to see how well the new hubbers got on - I guess it was a bit of an experiment that went.. fanny's up! lol

Seriously, I thank you for that tip.  It is very difficult to get a baseline idea as to how me, as a new person, is developing on hub pages in relation to others.  So, I thought that if I kept an eye on new people, watch their behaviours, I might have a better insight.
Im still stumbling about a bit, I'm afraid.  There doesn't seem to be any hard and fast rules, until you learn by mistake.

Thank you for your support.  You have no idea how much I value comments like this.

        Shaz x

p.s. I didnt become of fan of the porno queen tho! hehehe

Hey. no worries.... I did the same when I first joined.... the best way of getting fans is to just keep writing. In fact, if you can get to 95+ hubberscore you will start getting fans who are themselves just on a fanning spree wink I bet if you leave the fanning alone you will be in the high 80s or early 90s already....

Are you quite sure it is pornographic?  You should post the kink...er, I mean link and let the community decide.

If you see something that you feel breaks HubPages ToS, report it.

It takes community involvement to keep the place spam, porn and scam free.

CMHypnoposted 15 years agoin reply to this

There is a report button on the hub - gives you a list of reasons that you are reporting to choose from, and a box to write any further description.

As Darkside said, we all need to help keep our community the way we would like it to be.

hi, not everyone might agree with me but it is a disgusting picture, it is not art at all, it is pornography!there are sites in the internet for that first picture, You see there are children reading some of hubs here like anime topic etc,I sent this site the link of hubpages to my sons (aged 17, 14, 13) in the Philippines, they read articles here at HP, what if they come accross that, other sites i tell them there to locked out but this site is not locked out,

I appreciate sexy bodies, and all people are drawn to it but not that picture, the first one....it is just pure porno

dont you think that the barrier between art and pornography quite blurred?  Maybe it is also a social construction - ie. maybe this picture is acceptable in Holland and the kids just grow up with it?..... ooops, I feel a hub coming on! lol

          1. prettydarkhorse profile image64
prettydarkhorseposted 15 years agoin reply to this

no not even in holland, anywhere in the world, children are protected as I guess it would be, no parents or caretaker of children would allow this pictures to be shown to them, media, internet has a lot of influence on children, it is best not to expose children at a young age for this things becuase the consequences is not good to them and the society in general, there is a guided way to do it, and I am all for sex education which starts in the family and school, but this one must really go, it is good you report it already!

shazwellynposted 15 years agoin reply to this

I cant understand where the motive in publishing something like that picture?  They must have known that they couldn't get away with it.  I asked the question of whether it was pornography, because I would have thought that this couldn't have been readily published.  Just don't get it!

Is it Adult content?? The HubPages FAQ says no adult content. If you think it is Porn then you should flag it.

i can't imagine any parent anywhere allowing their children to be exposed to this trash.

  8. profile image0
    ryankettposted 15 years ago

I am pretty de-sensitised to porn, just like society in general, but I do think that a big thick black line needs to be drawn between adult only content and all other content. Hubpages sits on one side of that line, and porn sits on the other.

Ironically, I actually know an adult image sharing site which pays very well for traffic. So even if I wanted to share explicit material, I would be focussing on a specialist site which uses specialist affiliate networks.

Thankfully, hubpages does not allow porn and it will be removed.... just like always.... so nothing to worry about.

cosetteposted 15 years agoin reply to this

yes, it doesn't offend me either, except within the context of HubPages...i mean, i think it sends the wrong message as to what type of community this is. i don't mind pornography but it belongs on porn sites. that was pretty shocking actually, since it was so unexpected.

So, if this picture was shown under a computer drawing, would this be alright?  Just wondering.. want to see how dividing the line is. x

thranaxposted 15 years agoin reply to this

I am unsure, you need to ask the Hub team I guess. I know there are plenty of nude rocks on here. If it is a computer rendered image I don't see how thats different then the nude things in art museums, there just more current.
