   Video ads on hubpages now? I find them annoying and intrusive do you?
   
   I was checking out a couple of my hubs today to see if they needed some attention and a blaring Wal-mart ad comes on as I am scrolling down.  I find this highly intrusive on the hubs and will make people click away.  Not cool at all with that.  Have you noticed this on any of your hubs?  I do NOT support Walmart or anything they stand for and don't want their annoying videos on my hubs!

   I don't mind ads much as I tend to ignore them anyway. It's probably the same for a lot of people who use the internet a lot; you get desensitised to intrusive, annoying ads after a while. By the way, if you don't want Walmart ads to be displayed, you can stop it in your AdSense settings. At least, you can block certain categories of ad (shopping, in the case).

      I don't believe it is possible to control which ads appear via HubPages ad program.  On my own sites with adsense I do block advertisers I find objectionable.  I've never seen a video ad on a hub before today.

   I Totally agree with you.
   
   I think there is too much video content on Hub Pages now.
   This is an intelligent website where people come to read, learn and share.
   
   I do think the ad's have got a bit OTT as well but that's another issue!

   I totally agree with you Christin! I find video ads intrusive and annoying as well. I can't say that I've noticed much on my hubs b/c I've been so busy lately. But I'll definitely have to look around.

   I just saw the same ad for the first time a minute ago.  Unfortunately, I had my sound turned up fairly high, so when the music started it almost scared me to death.  I am definitely not a fan. 
   
   I've seen video ads before on other sites, but usually you have to actually press something before it will start playing the sound.  Ugh.

   There are restrictions on what kinds of ads can be used on our hubs.  I don't think you should have any auto playing video or audio ads on your hubs.  I would report this problem on this forum.

   Video ads should be posted on video sites...and text ads on text sites. As this site is mainly composed of text is should only have text ads. Common sense maybe?
