Christmas is arriving soon. If you were to write Santa a letter, what would be on your wish list?
I would like to try that Jason Winters tea (just to try it!)!
I just want everyone to be happy...that's it
I tutor at an after-school community center for elementary school kids in a disadvantaged area of Durham, NC. Two weeks ago, I asked one of my tutees if she wanted anything for Christmas, and this fifth grader, Sable, answered that she had no idea what she wanted. After some time to think, she burst out: "Maybe I'd like some pencils!" with a big smile.
It is very sad. Interesting thing is that I, a Duke University student, am asking my parents for a reservoir pen for Christmas...
hmmm....the ability to find a house would be on there for sure! hmmm other than that maybe just some clothes, new biker/combat black boots, Disneyland passes, and maybe some movies I might want...but that is about it...
Food for the people who have none
Shelter for those without
Happiness for ones who are sad
Soldiers home with their families
A place for the lonely, whom are left alone on this day
To be completely selfish...I want a Wii...
Of course, I won't get it unless I buy it myself.
1. My dream job
2. To be stuck in an igloo w/ just Joanna Krupa to keep me warm
oh and maybe World Peace should fit in there, somewhere.
For me, there's much to wish for, however:
1: A high paid Job
2: Audi R8 V10
3: Aston Martin DBS
4: A winning lottery ticket
I could go on...
For my Father to get out of trouble and ahead for once.
For my Sister to not work herself into the ground.
For my Nephew to understand he is worth it and loved.
For my Grandfather to find peace.
For my Mother to hold onto her happiness.
For my Step-father to keep my Mother happy.
For my Daughter to believe she can do anything.
For me to see it all happen.
I want what every beauty queen contestant answered on their "big question" near the end of the pageant.
I want this year to go away. It's been a year of constant grief. Finally, I think I've turned a corner. Other than that, I want a trip to the Mediterranean to get away, a trip to NYC to see some shows, and a few other equally inexpensive little things.
About £250,000 worth of adsense clicks would do me for a year or two....
I guess I would ask Santa that my husband keeps his job. Things are starting to get pretty iffy where he works.
I would love to have my best friend back calling me everyday.
Ahhh, nice wishes everyone! I'll make sure Santa receives your lists....except it looks like the elves might be short on the work orders....
Any other items you would like??
For Christmas I would like more Birthdays and to see my son graduate college
I would wish for a better year pesonally. Not sure my mind could handle another year like 2009
My best friend(my dog died)
Two uncles died
my wifes uncle and auntie died.
Wife had a bad cancer scare
Father in law had serious cancer surgery
Father had a severe heart attack and was brought back
father died on Halloween
Just too much for one year so I just want my internet business to continue to grow and have a better personal year
I just want a good wok and health and long life for my loved ones.
Most of my family live in Vegas. I have not seen them in a couple of years. It would be nice if I could manage to visit them.
good health for me and my family (here and in the Philippines);
to keep my job;
to be able to always hold my temper with my kids;
to visit my sister In Arizona next year
Oddly enough, I just wrote a letter to Santa and it's now a hub. I thought very hard about what I wanted for Christmas:
Heinz Beans - though I don't like them
Meerkats - who wouldn't want 1 or 7?
Gravity - I'm a woman in need
A boat - the yacht kind
That kind of thing
Keep the wishes coming (BTW, that photo of Santa -- he's not the REAL Santa, is he??? Please, don't destroy my image of him...)
1. My PS3 back from Sony
2. Sims 3 World Adventures
3. My relationship to stop being rocky
