   As my account is only 2 weeks old, still I have 38 followers. Well that's a big increase for me.

      Don't worry too much about that at the moment - I think most peoples' views have slumped, probably due to a Google algorithm change. Hopefully they will recover soon.

   Hi Silver Fish. I have had two new followers in a few weeks. That said, I have not been overly active posting new Hubs to attract them in the build up to Xmas. Now  that is out of the way, I have four in the pipeline.

   I've had an increase, but I wouldn't say that it was dramatic, more like steady. I only 19 more to get to the big 500!

    Yes, mine have also shown quite an increase almost doubling in six months. But I also have been writing a lot more hubs on different topics.

    Sometimes a lot of spam accounts start mass following other accounts.  Then when the spam accounts are deleted your follower account goes back down.  It happened to me once, it's kind of amusing for a while.

    Yes, I've noticed an increase. I would say a spike in a lot of new hubbers and several veteran hubbers who I've gotten to know better and vice versa.
