I recently found out a fact.

"Los Angele's full name is El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles de Porciuncula -- and can be abbreviated to 3.63% of its size: L.A."

So was wondering what the literal translation of the name would be in English?

The city of our lady the queen of the angels of Porciuncula.

I'm not sure what Porciuncula means - I think it may just be the name of a place.

I always thought it was city of angels but this is too long to mean merely that

How interesting to hear about Los Angeles's full name! I had no idea. Thanks,Cashmere:)

y si yo hablo espanol, just can't put in the all accents needed on a UK keyboard.
How does anyone else write Spanish? I usually use MS Word, then change the language from English to Spanish, and let it spell-check and hey presto all the accents go in the right place.
