   How long does it take to get your first $50 check from Hub after you reach the mark?
   
   I have finally reach the $50 mark and wondered how long I have to wait until I receive this big amount of money.

   Hi Carol.  It usually happens towards the end of the month.  If you reached the $50 threshold in January you can expect to get paid by late February.  Congratulations, that's a big milestone.

   Good morning, Carol!
   
   It seemed to take a month or so...and the reason for that is that I achieved that long-awaited milestone maybe a day after their usual posting of payouts...thus, the need to wait at least a month more.
   
   Congratulations on your memorable achievement. You are so deserving! I've always liked and empathized with you because I've wondered about the same things regarding the way things are on HP and my feelings about those issues. So when a peer reaches a great milestone, I'm right there celebrating with you! May  the next one not take as long! : )

   It took 2 months for me to rack up the $50 after joining the program. Then payment comes the end of the next month.

   Carol, congratulations.  I just got my first payout too.  I reached the $50 mark in December and received my payout in PayPal on the 28th of January.

   Yay!! Go Carol. On the 28th Jan I received my first payout after breaking the $50 by the end of December. So it depends when you earn it. If you made the $50 mark today, then it will be paid out on March 28th.

    i joined HP on18-12-2011 and received my first USD $53 payout on 24-04-2012, took me 4 months to hit the amount. The 2nd payout took a longer time; 6months to hit the mark.

    Congratulations Carol!  I didn't have any clue about this one but at least I learned a lot from all the answers given by other Hubbers.  But where do you look to see the amount go up slowly until it reaches $50?  I think it will take me a few years to get there!

       Hi Carol,
       You made me realize that I didn't turn the HubPages Earnings Program on... I could have wait a long time!  Since I turned that on, I earned $0.12 :-)
