I remember doing these as kids, and thought it would be a fun distraction during the hectic holiday season. Everyone adds one line to the story. Every now and then I'll try (or someone else can too if they feel the urge) to copy and paste all the story lines into a post so its easier to read. Here goes...
"Ella walked away from the party with an odd look on her face."
She had never expected to see a sight like that anywhere
She was a nice girl and was going to have no part in the filthy going ons of this party!
She looked behind her and suddenly from out of the shadows she saw someone walking towards her in the dark.
This stranger made her skin tingle and come out in goose bumps. What power did this stranger wield to affect her so?
She recognized the shape, the unique walk, the profile...where had she seen it before?
"oh, there they are, I am wearing them... I shouldn't have dropped so much acid."
Those '60's flash backs are really taking their toll on ella....
She suddenly realised the echoing self commentary in her head... her nightmare had become reality. Ella was a parody of the postmodern apocalypse.
Ok - Here's a compilation of the first couple of posts... my, my this is going in a direction I didn't see coming. lol.
Ella walked away from the party with an odd look on her face. She had never expected to see a sight like that anywhere

Then suddenly, something stopped her in her tracks!

"and...where are my pants!?"

Thank God she had completed that 12 step program; she was never going to be that person again.
I missed the last two steps.
What are they?
Ok, we've gotten a bit confused here... I've got 2 stories going off of the first line. K. Partin and Dinah Lee... You guys jumped back and started off of the original line instead of the latest added... Here's the story so far w/ the last line someone added in CAPS if you want to try again.

SHE PONDERED THIS WHILST TAKING HER GUN FROM HER POCKET.
It reminded her that her joint was in the other pocket and pondered.....
Choosing the wrong street would turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to Ella, for a few feet away there was a huge duffle bag filled $100 bills!
But Ella, as usual, always makes the wrong choice and takes the opposing path.
Ella didn't realise, but the shadow behind was getting closer.
Was Ella's story about to change, was something forbidding going to happen?
without looking back she quickened her pace to put some distance between her and her pursuer..
You guys are cracking me up. Here's the latest, again w/ last line in CAPS. KPartin - no worries! And, thanks for the fanmail.

She pondered this whilst taking her gun from her pocket.
Only to find out it wasn't her gun but a lighter!
It reminded her that her joint was in the other pocket and pondered.....
what did I do with my tissues?
Then she remembered and giggled to herself.
she then looked to the street sign ahead...
"Goodness! what a fool I've been..."
She giggled outloud.
"I've chosen the wrong street again", she chuckled.
She suffered with short-term memory loss.
Choosing the wrong street would turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to Ella, for a few feet away there was a huge duffle bag filled $100 bills!
But Ella, as usual, always makes the wrong choice and takes the opposing path.
The bag of large bills then sat there, unused and lonely...
WAS ELLA'S STORY ABOUT TO CHANGE, WAS SOMETHING FORBIDDING GOING TO HAPPEN?
Quickly she turned and found herself face to face with a strange-looking figure.
But she realized it was only a mannequin that she had felt strangely attracted to.
It did startle her how much it resembled her long-dead grandfather, however..
Her uncontrollable fear of lyme disease forced her to turn and flee.
Its large erect sucking rod draining blood. Where is it flying to now? Damn tick. Ella followed the tick...
the tick, engorged with her blood fell onto a stem of grass (ticks can't really fly, you know!) and pretty soon a sweet little deer fawn came along and the tick jumped up onto it for a ride
oh dear, said Ella. Ticks don't fly. Who said that? Why is there a deer in my room. Where are my pants?
Poor Ella suddenly remembered that last night she had sipped from the wrong drink on the bar - what kind of hallucinogen was she tripping on?
Perhaps that wasn't a tick? in her dreamy state she could only remember the engorgement and the sucking sound.
big toe, which she had never seen looking so huge, and so, well lovely! What a lovely big toe! She wanted to
paint it a beautiful crimson to match her long, flowing hair
