Just asking for some good thought or prayers for my hubby. He is interviewing in Denver right now. Next Tuesday he'll be interviewing in Sacramento.
Best wishes to you both. I hope it turns out to be wonderful!
If it is a job interview, I have articles about this that you might be interested to read.
Keep praying and give him your full support. Goodluck to your husband!
Thanks! Interview in Denver went well, they already called to discuss an offer.
Sacramento is today. He says its beautiful in Sacramento. Which means nananabooboo, its 50* here and -20 wind chill at home.
Denver and Sacramento both sound lovely. What about cost of living though? Anyway, all the best.
I think I have written a hub about this one, cant find it but here are my thoughts
Read something about the company you are applying, objectives, and history are important things to know, how you can contribute to their objective etc.
Know your worth, specially of they ask you what range of salary you are expecting
Appearance -- presentable and decent
Talk with enough loudness and look them in the eye when you are talking
Don’t be late for the interview
Put off your cell phone, concentrate, avoid mannerisms
Answer them directly and honestly.
Be adaptable meaning if they asked you if you can work extra more hours and learn some more skills, just be positive about it
Don’t talk negatively about your past employers
And lastly you will need to have patience, determination, persistency and never say die attitude when looking for a job.
oh Jane good luck to your husband
PDH, My husband was a hiring manager, so he knows how to interview. Sometimes I think he ends up interviewing them as much as he is being interviewed.
Good thoughts for those going through the interview process.
You know I'll be sending postive vibes, thoughs, and prayers your hubby's way!
Keep us posted!

I have a tendency to do a lot of interviews for my articles, whether it's for book reviews, music reviews, celebrity interviews, etc. I haven't found many hubs that utilize interviews....in fact, I've only found one that does, but maybe I'm not digging deep enough or using the right search...

In what is absolutely the LAST thing I and what family I have left need to hear at this point in time - my father is back in the hospital with sepsis. He's been fighting an infection in the bones of his foot for ten years now, he is severely diabetic...and they're finally going to amputate his...

Am feeling disappointed this morning. When I write and photograph a tutorial the written work is my copyright and it is always my hope that people will only use these for personal use and for their friends and family. I never expect that they will go into business selling the finished product but...
