I have found some really funny stuff on Utube and I just love funny things. Would I be allowed to write about it and upload some videos. Is it ok if they are not my videos?
Haven't you visited any Hubs that have utube videos on them? I guess that would better answer your question.
I'm sorry, I always have this really annoying habit to point out the obvious. No offense intended.
Well ofcourse but I didnt know if they belonged to them. I wasnt sure if they posted them on UTube. So bla
Did I say that? Or Did I say that I even knew? Or Did you assume I knew? Or Maybe it was something?
Hmmm.....all these question, I'm not sure if I can even remember the first question asked?
What is one to think?
I've seen alot of hubs with utube on them I think as long as you have their permission and give credit where it is due.
Go for it Kmackey..just highlight the embedded link and attatch it ro your hub, if they don't have one and you have an account you can ask for the embedded link or just skip 'em
Oh so you have to ask for permission? What if I ask but noone answers me.
Find a youtube video you like, and insert it in the Video Capsule.
If the uploader doesn't want it shown anywhere else, they'll have it so 'embedding is disabled'. If that's the case it won't work in the Video Capsule at all.
If the case is that the actual owner of the video has a problem with it being uploaded at Youtube, they won't come after you, they'll contact Youtube and have it removed. When it's unavailable at Youtube, it won't show in your hub's Video Capsule.
I have heard on the rare occasion that the person who has it up at youtube complaining about its use elsewhere, such as on Squidoo, but it's pointed out that they just have to change a setting to stop people from embedding it.
It's not hosted by you or HubPages, so neither you or HP can get in trouble for it.

I know that hubpages is strict about violations and copyright but is it a violation to post a youtube video in your hub, which you know includes copyrighted material, which the one uploading the video did not have permission to upload? Like a movie clip or a song lyrics video. I know the internet...

I just went to edit one of my hubs and noticed that none of my embedded youtube videos are showing up. The capsule is clearly there as they still have the titles I have given them, but instead of a video there's just huge white space where the videos should be...Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hey guys,So I've been trying to find away around that elusive issue with "no embedding" issues with You(can't embed this here)Tube. Here's an idea...can we have a page frames capsule? What if we're able to embed a whole YouTube page within a Hub? It will be loading two pages at once,...

I'm planning a hub about one particular actor in one particular scene of a movie. Without a visual representation of the actor in the scene the article would be meaningless, but no free or non-copyrighted photos appear to exist. To me this seems a classic case for Fair Use, as reflected in this...

This is nothing new, just new to me: I was shocked to see the message that one of my quizzes had been taken a few times on HubPages but 20-some times 'on other sites'. I never gave permission for my work to be distributed to other sites like this. I read an old forum thread, which told me to start...
