Score is for assessing something in comparison with others. Should it be up or down depends on particular case. It may be assessing either good or bad qualities. Suppose more score refers to best performance. Then it should be up in that case. If, on the other hand, you are assessing something bad quality, then score should be down to be less bad.
If your question is in regards to your hub and hubber scores, the higher the better.
