Is anyone else having a problem with images and photos not appearing on hubs?

   Is anyone else having a problem with images and photos not appearing on hubs?
   
   It seems for the past few days, I have noticed that some images and photos are not appearing on hubs, but other images and photos do on the same hub.  Then later, they will all appear.  This is happening on others' hubs as well as my own.  Is there an issue on HP or is this something to do with my computer?  Thank you for answering.

      Hi peachpurple, well, there must be some glitch then with HP.  My photos are ones already on published hubs though.  Thank you for answering.

   I haven't been able to access my photos on Hub pages for ages now  but have been able to upload photos from my computer.

      Hello freecampingaussie,  Wow, really?  Yes, I can upload mine too, but here of late for some reason some are not showing but are showing and "x".  They show up later on though?

   First, are you getting all of your photos/images from the same site?
   
   Second, are they all of the same size? In other words, which do not show - all of the sizes or only the large ones or only the minimized ones?
   
   Third, go to the photos/images which do not appear and possibly when you click "Show all" you may see the ones which did not appear in Hub. Others there before may not be in the slideshow.

      Hi Kevin, I use my own and different sites and have not had any issue until the past week.  Thanks, I will do that, but now the one that did not come up for a bit yesterday, is now showing up.  Maybe it is just taking longer for my computer to load?

      I doubt it is your computer Faith, I have read Hubs for a while with 1-2 photos not showing, maybe in the sideshow. Maybe the other way. At first I mentioned it and the owner saw it, so I stopped.

      Oh, okay, thank you so much, Kevin.  I believe it must be a glitch with HP from time-to-time, as they are all seemingly appearing this day.  I do hope you are enjoying a lovely Sunday afternoon. This morning I saw ducks migrating!

      It is that time and soon only a few winter birds will be left. It was a nice one until my brother took me food shopping and at the register my food stamps said the balance was 0. I have to find out why. I hope that yours is better. Bye for now!  :-)

      Thank you Faith. A while after I got home last night I re-checked on the phone and I had the balance. I also recalled a 1st & 2nd no.'s of total, machine did it backwards! I had balance yesterday.

      I am so glad for you, Kevin, that is all worked out.  I am still having a problem with images and photos now showing, like right here, my photo at the top is not showing to me?  Guess, I have to email HP?

       I posted a photo from Wikimedia to an unfeatured Hub and I viewed it. I also posted a photo to a new Hub I am starting and it showed up.

       Yes, the problem seems to be intermittent.  They will not show up and then a bit later they are there, at least that has been the case on hubs I have been reading and on this question, but now it is showing up?

       Whenever I want to see a photo which is not there I just click to see 'all photos'. I look at the one photo and then close the slideshow - 2 clicks and I continue reading the Hub.

   I've also had a bit of a challenge, but when I return, they are always there. I also suspect that certain browsers might contribute to this. Likewise, as someone else mentioned, if you are using the same site for images, that too might be posing a problem. Not sure, but do let us know if you get a definitive answer elsewhere.

      Hi Keisha, thanks for letting me know that yours are there when you return, as that is how mine have been doing here of late.  I bet that is the problem concerning certain browsers contributing to this problem.

   No, I just published one hub now and uploaded a few photos and they all appeared. I did not have any problem with uploads. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble. Maybe it will soon right itself.

      Hello lies, thank you for answering.  I am not having a problem with uploading photos, just that some are not showing up, but then later show up.  It just did it again on a hub I was reading of another hubber.  There is just a blank screen with an x.

   Hi, just now this is my case also. I went to see a comment received on my hub "How to keep clean-your kitchen". And two images were not appearing there. After two minutes, when I reloaded one image appeared and other one 'my clean sink' is still missing and blank white space is there.
   I think there should be some problem with hubpages. The ads are also changing quickly. When I was commenting there were different ads. When I reloaded the page the ads changed and new ones are there.

      Hi Ven, I am sorry you are also having these issues. Hopefully, HP will soon fix these problems. It may just be overload from all the new writers slowing things down a bit.

   I have problems seeing images on some hubs. A minute image appears in the middle where photo should be, and when you click on it, the pic comes up. This has happened for several weeks now. I also have a video that won't play but think it may be inappropriate content. The site sometimes loads slowly, so I will once again do all those tweaks to my computer and then put a note in the forum, if nothing works. I know the site is about to be revamped, so that may be part of the problem. Thanks for this timely question.

      Hi Audrey, yes, this has been happening on and off for several weeks, but now I can see my image here, so who knows? You are right about the site about to undergo changes and that may be the underlying issue.
