"This Hub is no longer published" - Do you also get annoyed at these messages?

On receiving the weekly or daily mail from Hubpages, you want to read a hub that catches your attention and  will be clicking on the link. But, you get disappointed with a message that says "This hub is no longer published". There have been many such occasions. Did you also come across such situations and how do you feel at it?

Have never come across these types of messages, probably because I'm still a rookie on hubpages. However if these instances occur, I'm sure there must be a good reason or a way to find out what Hubpages reasons are

I hope, the reason for such messages is that the related hub or post has been disapproved and got unpublished.

I have not run into that. I will share if I edit my hub I unpublish it. Sometimes I may even take a few days to edit, so it is unpublished that time period.

I posted this question on clicking today's editor's choice hub from my weekly mail and finding it unpublished.

I saw the same message yesterday on editors choice! I scratched my head. I see these once in awhile. I think sometimes it is because the writer has thought better and changed their minds and unpublished. I have one follower th st does that regularly. Other times I'm sure administrators have unpublished them. Yes, annoying!

Thanks for the answer. I hope so. Either the author or the administration got it unpublished. I came across such things several times during this 6 month period.

Yes, I had this same issue when I clicked on one of the hubs highlighted in this week's HP newsletter.  I was surprised and bewildered by it, but I don't know why it happened or what it means.  Perhaps, as others have suggested, the author has taken down the hub for whatever reason.  It does seem strange though.

I have seen every once in awhile. One of the authors told me he unpublished it himself because he was given a good deal of money elsewhere to publish it as a print item. Some of the better writers have that happen to them sometimes. That is actually a good thing then.

Thanks for reply. I think you didn't click the EC hub yesterday, otherwise, you could have noticed it.

Yes,I think this happens when a hub is not featured after QA process.I got one of my hubs not featured after 24 hours for some reasons and learnt from viewers that the column was not available. So it shows up for 24 hours and goes unpublished after 24 hours if it is not through with QA.This is just my guess.

But, in this case it should not be due to quality as it was this week's  Editor's Choice hub. There should be other reasons.
