Good for you man. Once I went to see a doctor. I was about 40. She asked me : Do you have any uneasyness reading from a close distance ? I said : No, not at all. Why ? She said : Because at your age, sight is not improving at all and it naturally comes to a state where you need glasses. I said : Ok. That's not my case. She said : Do you smoke ? I said : Yes. She said : how much ? 5, 10, 20, more cigarretes a day ? I said : at least 20. she said : Oh! you will never need to wear glasses. hehehe
I have a gift for nicknaming but have yet to recieve one of my own. Ive tried to give myself one for years but my friends say that doesnt count if you name yourself. Thanks to the cast of Jersey Shore, everybodies been tagging themselves with one. I am validated finally...
Those books are real classics! I was such a geek that when I read the outsiders I gave my copy to the teacher cause I wanted to share this great book with someone I thought would also enjoy it. Guess what happened? She ordered one for every one in the class! I was very popular for that
My nickname from grade 6 on up was Pots and that was before Happy Days. It was short for Pots 'N' Pans and that's all I have to say about that. A friend of mine in college (who had been in my scout troop and gone to school with me in junior high) was calling me that into our college years. He was the only one who could still use the nickname. After I graduated high school it didn't feel right coming from anyone new. Once I started writing for college papers if people didn't know me enough to call me by my middle name they called me by my last name: Phoenix. My name is Phoenix and . . . that's the bottom line.

There are plenty of names, whether they be first names or first and last names together, in life where you just have to stop and think, "Why did their parents name them that?" And you just hope the child didn't suffer for it.
I was reading a blog on monetizing adsense and the writer mentioned that you could lose both your Google Adsense and your blog if you put brand names into the title, because then you'd be driving traffic to your blog on the tails of someone elses trademark. Is that true or was he misinformed...
How do you pick names for your pets?We had some unusual names for our pets when I was a kid (my brother named one cat "Mody" because the cat sounded like its 'motor' was running when it purred. Any cute stories about pets' names in your household?
