Hi Hubbers,
I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Outdoor Cat Shelter. What can I do to improve? Thanks!
I clearly don't get why this article isn't being accepted. Any feedback would be deeply appreciated.
Hi there,
You probably should get rid of those links. I know you feel they are relevant to the topic, but they aren't. The title is about shelters; the links are about risks to outdoor cats.
Restrict the Amazon capsules to one, and make sure it is spot on as far as linking to the text. Consider using an in-text link, rather than a separate capsule. It's even better if you can say that you have had experience using the item and why you recommend it.
You have, in my opinion, too many videos. One is enough. Make sure, again, it is relevant to the title of the hub.
Make sure that you don't go off-topic. If I am a reader looking for 'outdoor cat shelter', then I am looking how to make or find one. If I can't find that information straight away, I will press the Back button pronto. If you want to keep the article more or less intact as it is now, I would suggest that you change the title to what is currently a sub-title, "Keeping Your Outdoor Cat Safe and Warm in Winter".
Hope that helps.
Edit: I was writing this as Dr Mark posted
Hi Ruth it looks useful but I suggest you delete that first Amazon capsule. The other is great, something you used and something that is useful to readers, but the first capsule is something that a neighbor used and not valuable if your hub is telling people how to put together an outdoor shelter spot.
I also think you should delete all of those links on the risks of winter on dog and cat health. They are not related to the title.
(If traffic is not what you hoped for after a few months condider changing the title. "Rail trails for family biking" is more useful and more likely to get readers than "Trails for biking". Consider "DIY Shelter For Outside Cats" or something that is more useful and interesting to potential readers.)
I like Bev“s title a lot more than mine or yours. Dont we all want to keep our cats safe and warm in the winter? I think potential readers of your article will appreciate that title too.
