    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process: Will you please give feedback on my article A Visit To Maastricht, The Netherlands. What can I do to improve it? Thanks!

Hi Leonie. I like the flow of your article. You need to edit it. I suggest you download Grammarly, the free version first and use it.

Use this title,  A Visit To Maastricht, The Netherlands. Capitalization okay not in your article. Use periods when necessary. There's a good flow, keep editing.

Crop the pictures so you don't show the date.

I can see three reasons why your article didn't pass QAP.
    1. Subject Matter
    2. Grammar & Puctuation.
    3. Layout

1.The subject matter is probably the main problem. HubPages is looking for unique, interesting content that gives new info about and answers to queries typed into google search (when someone "gooooogles" something.) smile

Your visit to Maastricht may have been unique and interesting to you, your son, your friends and family but hey, unfortunately that in itself is of very little interest to the public at large, sorry. Such an article belongs on a personal blog or on FaceBook. Why?

If anyone wants to know about Maastricht they can get all the information they need and much more by simply Googling the word "Maastricht" which lands them on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maastricht (where you probably got most of your information from). Therefore, to the world at large, your article is redundant, superfluous, not really wanted. The Internet already knows about what you have written. So what do you do?

Try to write about something new, something that people are googling and cannot find info on or answers to. Or you can always write recipes, or reviews but those are i.m.o. no fun to write.

    2. In addition I recommend you use Grammarly to check up on grammar and punctuation for any future articles. (you can try and run this first article through with Grammarly but I wouldn't bother in view of the above (1. Subject Matter) reason. It's a good start though. You can write, don't give up. Writing for the Internet to make money is a whole new language. Practice makes perfect.

    3. As for Layout, make your text capsules shorter, each with a catching heading and interspersed  with a few high quality, relevant media.

    Don't stop writing Leonie and

    Good luck with your progress
