I do not need to know specific amounts paid to you, I know that is against the rules. Just wondering how long it took everyone smile

Used to be 2 years. Don't know how long it takes Google to make up its mind these days. Am likewise curious.

My first payout was at 5 months and I had a dozenish hubs or so at that point.  My later hubs definitely performed better by about 10 months here i made payout every single month.  It's doable and you'll get there smile.  Once you reach that threshold it's easier to keep hitting it and growing.

Took me 6 months don't know how many articles, and then I made payout every single month, but some time around a year and a half ago it was every two months for a few months, before getting back to every month.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm on track to get my first payout in June which will be 8 months. I check every single morning. Even when it's just 25 cents I get so excited lol. Not even  because of the money but because of the views.

I think I saw my first payment after about 9 months  with 20 something articles but that was obviously accumulated over several months (5 or 6 I believe) at this point after writing regularly for 2 years I am still not managing payments every month, usually every other month, once in a while two months in a row.

I just started posting again and will try to post at least once a day. Hopefully the money will start coming steady once i keep posting more regularly.

Do you mean writing articles? Posting in the forum doesn't earn anything.

When I started you got paid directly from Amazon or Google. Took me a year to get my first check from Google, and the minimum payout was $100 dollars.

It was easier then to make money than it is now, and I was absolutely crap at making anything of quality. My articles were no better than what I now think of as blogs.

I just started writing articles in November 2017. I am going to get my first HubPages ad program payout of about $70 next week.

If the first payout is at the level of $50 I hope to be able to reach that amount in about a week or two from today. I have been writing here since January, so I've just about completed my fourth month.
Wish me luck in getting my first paycheck soon.
