    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article How Many Types Of Skin Do We Have? (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!

You have a major problem with run-on sentences throughout your entire article. Accordingly, here is a link Grammarly.com where you will learn all about run-on sentences:

Here is another link to a discussion about run-on sentences:

    http://writing.umn.edu/sws/assets/pdf/q … un-ons.pdf

Here are some examples of run-on sentences in your article:

“In the last ten years, I have met a lot of people whose just came to me and ask about some products, unfortunately when I asked them about their skin type the answer is simply: I “don’t know”.”

“I still remember that girl who came to me, she was 33 years old and when I asked her about her skin type she just answers its normal.”

“She told me when she was 21 she asked the cosmetics salesman and he told her that she has normal skin type, that was right in that time, but your skin is likely to change with time, every day pass our skin type change a little bit, due to a lot of factors.”

“There is five different skin type, normal, oily, combination, and dry skin. There are a number of factors that depend on their presence or absence to determine the type of skin, Water in the skin, and other factors that affect skin elasticity, the percentage of oils released by the skin, and the factors affecting it.”

“Loss of large amounts of water from skin cells; due to high heat exposure, stress or physical activity, lack of natural moisturizing factors such as amino acids and lactic acid, lack of natural fat content necessary to protect and moisturize the skin, such as collagen and Hyaluronic acid, genetic factors, aging, exposure to the sunlight without sunscreen, and shower with hot water for a long time.”

“Normal skin is a natural skin whose properties are balanced between dry and oily skin, it does not contain much water either much oil, so it is in some part dry and in the other oil.”

“The combination skin characterized to combine the oily skin and the dry one at the same time to be more specific, the oily areas extend in the forehead area to the width and down to the nose and chin forming the "T" zone, while dryness is presenting in the rest of the face, such as cheeks.”

You have many other types of problems in your article as well. However, I don't want to overwhelm you at this point.

The article has potential but you need to study the links Gregory shared. The font changes in your text which is awkward. I would take one paragraph at a time and work it until it is HP standard, and then work on the next paragraph and so forth. It's hard work but worth it.

The title needs tweaking as well. Try writing as if you are talking to one person not a group.
