It isn't possible to add attachments to a message sent to a HubPages member. This is a major omission?
I ask for photos on one of my hubs and provide a separate email for them to send it to. Handling attachments is a big security risk which HP probably doesn't want to take.
Couldn't a photo just be attached so that it displays and isn't clickable (in case it's a virus EXE file masquerading as a JPG?)
But if you reply to the email that the member sends then they have your email to send the attachment to so doesn't that solve the problem?
Yes, but you have to go to the trouble of explaining to every new reader that they need to send an email so that you can reply to them so that they see your email and can then reply with a photo attached, which is all really convoluted. The alternative would be to post our email addresses in our profiles.
What we do is bound by the ToS and they have our SS#. Random readers... who knows. I am sure it could be done but I doubt it is worth the trouble when we can just use email.

I can't believe that I'm ranked behind people who just link up American Idol highlights.I asked Hubpages what the deal was and they gave me a runaround. I'm starting to think this is all BS! Please help renew my faith.

I was just getting ready to send a hub in an email from the email option that used to be in the Share section. I couldn't find it.. has it been gone long? Or am I missing something?

I sent an email about my PayPal payment being about 17% lower than the amount listed on my HP dashboard, including three screen captures, to the team@hubpages(dot)com email. Did I send it to the correct email or should I have used the payments@hubpages(dot)com address? Also, if this discrepancy is...

I know traffic is a problem everywhere it seems; I'm not talking about low traffic, here. There is a real problem if you use the photo capsule for anything and even the intro photo. I'm NOT referring to the images inside the Amazon capsules.Because quality traffic/reader satisfaction relies on...

For a long time, a lead photo was great in driving a nice introduction to an article. However, with the big video advertisement that is now in front of the article, it seems the lead photo makes a reader scroll too much and may be too distracting. I've always been an above the fold kind...

Today I received my first offline "complaint" from a reader. This person didn't leave a comment on the hub itself, but chose to write me privately through HP to chastise me for failing to cover the topic to her satisfaction. Notwithstanding this hub is based on my personal experience, this...
