Big dip in Ad Program earnings for two days.

Friday and Saturday showed the lowest Ad Program earnings I have seen in well over one year. It seems it could be just temporary though, as lately my earnings overall have increased. Maybe returning (I hadn't written here for some time, and just came back and made a few posts) jars the algorithm somehow. What do you think?

Traditionally traffic is a little slower in the summer months, as many people with young families often take their vacations while school is out in July and August. I noticed less traffic, but my earnings were the same. I am still fixing up a few older hubs for niche sites and haven't written new material for a while either. I think traffic will pick up in Fall.

Yeah. I realize the seasonal thing. I'd not have even paid mind to the dip it if it were not for two super-low days back to back.

I had two very low days too. I wondered if it was because of problems with some internet servers.

This would make sense, as it would affect some yet not others. Thanks for the suggestion.

I had my highest in a while on Saturday. Friday was about average.

I think a lot of mine is to do with the weather and whether it is the weekend.

I've just recently had this - my earnings increased a few months ago, which was nice, then I had quite a good week the week before last...until last week were most of the days are under half that, if not 10% of what I had been earning....for only slightly lower page views. Any ideas?

Well since I posted this, my earnings recovered. However, I notice that various things affect the algorithm. If I put up a few posts consecutively is one, and also editing articles, plummets earnings for a short while. This weather is hell, and I am sure that has its effects at times, and holidays as well. It's probably a good idea to consider what has changed or what's going on, when earnings drop significantly.
