Erudite Scholar, you can start by removing those label headlines on your photos. We can see it's a house.

I have just realised that my comments have posted on the article itself.  Sorry. I have not engaged my brain yet this morning!  I thought and I still think that this is a very good article with great illustrations.  I wonder if breaking it up a little more with titles on capsules might help.  As writers, we have a structure in our heads, but I think the editors favour having it spelled out to them very clearly.

You might want to try using "call out" for any quotes from sources like this one you used: As noted by Rancic, “The American Dream is still alive out there, and hard work will get you there. You don’t necessarily need an Ivy League education or to have millions of dollars’ startup money. It can be done with an idea, hard work, and determination.”

Also, you need to wear your editor's hat and go through the article and catch your mistakes. Like this one I found:

In this statement, the author explains that anyone in the United States can attain success through hard work and determination. It does not matter the amount of money one has but hard work is the fundamental element that makes anyone to reach any far in life or get what he/she

wants. For example, in most organizations, employment opportunities are awarded to individuals who are hardworking, determined, and enthusiastic. Such people can offer valuable input to the organizations. Therefore, the American Dream is still valid and attainable in the United States through hard work and determination.

You wrote: “Despite other imminent dreams in the society, such as finding spiritual happiness, the American Dream does not imply that it leads to one attaining material abundance, for example, a luxury car or comfy mansions.”

This is a run-on sentence. To learn more about run-on sentences and how to fix them, go to:

In addition, some of your paragraphs are much too long and need to be broken into smaller components. (Specifically, I am referring to the final seven or eight paragraphs in your article.) With a l-o-n-g paragraph, you will inevitably lose a reader’s attention and interest.

    Another run-on sentence:

"Several people have lost their American Dream as a result of the many obstacles and challenges being witnessed in the world, for instance, poverty, lack of education, gender discrimination among others."
