How do we get straight to the forum from our profile page? Sorry to be a pest.
Just click on the three horizontal lines at the top left of the screen, where it says "MORE"
Thanks for that... I knew someone would know.
Are they trying to discourage forum posting? I guess that's OK, too.
Waitaminit-- I just tried that and don't see forums-- what?
I see the lines on the profile page, and where it says Blog on the bottom. I don't see Help or Forum. It takes me to a Map Capsule tutorial.
I see the Blog at the bottom, but it takes me to the Map Capsule page when I click it.
Do you mean how to get to your feed? Click on the "HubPages" logo at the top - that will always take you to your feed whatever page you are on.
No, I can't easily get to the forums. I have to go the HP rules page and click "Help."
Jean, I’m having the exact same problem that you are. I thought it was just me, but apparently not.
I don't think people get what we are saying. There's no direct way to get to the forums and what they tell me about the Blog, Help, Forum lands me to where I said. I can go to a Hubpages Forums link which lists all the niche sites and click "Help" to get here. But I can't see the daily forums or topic ones. It's so frustrating, especially when things change so fast.
So what happens when you click the three bars at the top left of the page? A black panel should pop up. It has a scroll bar on it. Scroll to the bottom of the box and you should see Blog Help Forums. Click on Forums and it should bring you here.
If it's not working, try in a different browser. If that does work then your normal browser may need 'cleaning'.
Bev, thanks for suggesting another browser. I use a Chromebook, so you know what that means when it comes to browsers. When I click on the three horizontal lines, I do not see anything that you are talking about. It must be my browser.
Jean, what browser are you using?
I use Chrome on my desktop and have never had a problem with this. As stated before, look at the word MORE on the upper left corner of the page. Beside it are three lines. Click on them. Scroll all the way to the very bottom where you will see Blog, Help, Forums. Click on Forums. It has been this way for quite some time. If you still can't get on to the forums, click on HubPages at the top of the page. This will take you to your feed. Scroll down until you find a forum post. Click on it and you can get to the forums that way, but you shouldn't have to do this. If none of this works, email the team for help.
I'm using Microsoft Edge. It's the only browser I have left since Window's 10 update wiped out my machine, not impressed. But it does get me to the forums
Paradigm suggested bookmarking which is what I did. Sorry to hear about your computer. That is tragic about Windows 10 wiping out your computer. I had never heard of Microsoft Edge though until you mentioned it. Hope it's working out better now.
Thanks, yeah, I saw the links, that's good to know. I don't know if it's better, I'm just doing what AI feels is best for me I guess. What a mess!
I got it! I have Google Chrome. I have been on that list, but only saw "Blog." I didn't scroll down enough.
Bev, thanks for your saintly patience!
Gregory, click the three lines, and scroll down pretty far. I've been as far as "Blog" but didn't go any farther. I have problems because I often am afraid to "look around" too much when on the computer. Mine is finicky and I want to take a sledge hammer to it someday.
There you go I have to say it's still a bit of a potch when all we had to do was click on the link at the top of the page.
Jean, got it. Thanks. Remember how much easier it was when the option was at the top of the page?
One can always just bookmark https://hubpages.com/forum/hubpages .
I also do the same for https://hubpages.com/my/hubs/stats .
Thanks. Bookmarking is the best way right now. Why didn’t I think of that?
Ohhhh! I can't believe I never thought of that! I always have a problem getting to the forums from a niche site having to go a round about way to first get back to my stats page then go to more but not being able to do it directly. This is so useful! Thanks!
Forum usage seems to be dropping over time. Who knows what HP is up to these days? That was a rhetorical question.
The times, they keep a changing.

As jimmythejock was quick to pick up on a few days ago (man, he's good!), we have been working hard on coming up with a new overall look and feel for HubPages and in the process we've also added a few cool, new features that we think you'll all really like. We'll be launching this new redesign...

Very weird, but for the last few days the option to go back a page no longer works if I am currently on a forum and trying to leave it to return to a non-forum page I visited previously. In fact the best I seem to be able to achieve is to go back to the first page I entered the forum on, but not to...

Some of us are encountering an issue in the forum. On the front page, it will indicate that responses have been made since we last participated in a thread, but when we click on the name of the most recent respondent, rather than being taken to that response, we come to the start of the last page...

I have noticed that there are quite a few “people” who have hundreds (even) thousands of forum posts and few, if any, Hubs. I call them Forum Frogs because they just hop around on the forums trying to catch the unsuspecting with their sticky tongues. Most are lame, annoying and redundant. I propose...

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

In the new style pages, is there no way now to see our own forum posts easily? The old one had a plce to click to view own posts - to track conversations, can't see how to do that in the new forums but may be being a bit dense.
