    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Hi. I think you should remove the Amazon capsule first of all because you haven't discussed the book that you're trying to sell in your article. Next, I think you should include references because you've written a health article. I realize that as an eye care professional you probably have some knowledge about diabetes, but I think a few authoritative references that are specifically about diabetes are still necessary.

A disclaimer at the end of the article would also be useful. HubPages has pre-written disclaimers that you can choose, including one that is written for medical professionals to use. Even the medical doctors who write on HealthProAdvice (a HubPages site) use this disclaimer.

    Hi there,

This is the same article you posted yesterday, with a different title. I mentioned that you need to address diet. Adding an Amazon book isn't going to help because the book is not related to anything you've written about in the article. If you haven't read the book, you shouldn't include it.

Perhaps a browse of the articles on the HP network site, HealthProAdvice would help you? Here's one I found on diabetes and blindness: https://healthproadvice.com/conditions/ … Blindness. See how it's laid out and how in-depth it goes without it being too scientific. That's what you should be aiming for.

There are more articles (personal stories) on PatientsLounge: https://patientslounge.com/conditions/diabetes/

Remove the photo of roses, it's not relevant to the content. A photo of a person would be better. Don't use a frame, HP are discouraging its use.

    Good luck.

Thank you again theraggededge for your suggestions. I'll see what can be done now.
