    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. My article is a personal experience with one hair product and the topic is actual. The article itself was written with tons of useful information for anyone interested in this topic and in my opinion, was not a type of article written only to promote the product. However, it got defeated for Spammy elements. Can you please advise me what could be the issue and how I can improve it? Thanks a lot!
Here is my article: Can Home Keratin Treatment Repair Damaged and Dry Hair?

Ivana, this is a very good article as I'm interested in hair treatment and growth.

The first photo should be removed because it has the title of the story printed on it. Are you writing a hub pro to be sure? I like the pic but it should be replaced or hve the print marks removed.

Third, your article title and its subtitles should all be in the hubpages approved APA format. That is seriously lacking in the title and subtitles. And they should be consistence.

What is the smile. sign aat the end of the thirdd subheading? Remove it. An article is not a discussion or a forum topic where such signs ae frequently used. An article is a story and you've got to go by Hubpages standards.

'what You Get in the Kit' -start with a capital letter with each point. Not 1. a pre...but, 1. 'A pre-treatment...' and so on for everyone of the next numerical points.

In the callout, you should use a quotation mark, single or double, depending on the standard of English being used in your written-up. Use either the American or British models throughout.

Finally, check your grammar. There's an issue with sentences and punctuations. A  free grammar tool like grammarly can be of great help here. Go download it t www.grammarly.com

      Good success.

It's definitely a useful article. I don't think it's spammy at all. You've described how you used the product very well. It is well within the guidelines given by HubPages.

However, there are other issues, mostly minor, with grammar and formatting.

Make sure the article bio reflects the content.

Check capitalization... for example, I don't know, but should it be 'Brazilian Blowout'? It would be good if you would explain that term as well, as I've never heard it before. Keratin doesn't need capitalizing unless part of a product name. Decide if your subheadings should be capitalized and be consistent. They are all over the place at the moment. You can use this site to help: https://capitalizemytitle.com

Make your paragraphs shorter. The first one is way too long. Also, add in an extra 'Enter' after the last character in a paragraph to give an extra blank line.

Remove the question mark from 'How to do keratin treatment at home'. It's not a question. And from 'What you get in the kit'.

    Straightening, not straitening.

Move the Pros and Cons section to the very end so it appears as the conclusion.

Make the changes and hopefully, it will be featured. If it isn't, then contact editors@hubpages.com for advice.

    Good luck.

You've certainly created a very useful article! You have been given some good suggestions about how to improve it. If the article is still not featured, I think you need to look at the text on the first photo, as Miebakagh says. The fact that the text is the same as the title seems repetitive and redundant. The photo text is a good idea, but I think you need to change it so that it's not the same as the title of the article.

An image with text can be great for Pinterest, but you can either put the image lower down or upload the image with text directly to Pinterest with a link added and use a text-less version on the hub.  It's a good article and very useful.
