Anyone else facing this issue? Both the hubs have no broken links and even the video which is shown as broken works well. Have no clue what to do. Any suggestions?
This happens to me as well and quite often lately. I've noticed when this occurs, it's usually on one of my top performing articles and afterwards my traffic suddenly drops for a while. And like you, I test and find nothing wrong with the video link. It's really starting to test my patience. Most of my articles can stand on their own without bells and whistles, so this last time I've resorted to removing the video as I'm tired of dealing with the hindrance of traffic. But that's me having seen it all in the past 7 years and realizing a few things. Good Luck to you
Yeah, my traffic has dropped too... Is it HubPages asking us to remove videos? Crazy. Thanks, Ziyena!
There have been several threads on this issue over the past month or so. The team says it's working on the bug and they seem to suppress it for a few days and then the little rascal sneaks back in again. Click on the icon and then click "Ignore" on the offending items. It's a bit of a pain, but just be thankful it's not me who is trying to fix the problem.
Thanks, Rupert!
This happened before and I went ahead and changed all the videos. This is the second time and appears to be a useless effort to correct something which requires no correction.
Anyway, I have gone ahead and clicked "Ignore", but unable to do much about the drop in views, though.
Thanks again, buddy!
I've been facing the same issue with one of my articles. The video link seems to be working fine and yet HubPages keeps telling me that it is broken. I tried the 'restest' button and it said that it is a 'bad link.' I have no idea what really to make of it, but if many suggest in the treads here to ignore it, then I guess I'll do that as well.
Hi Trihorus,
Yeah, ignoring is the best option. Hope it does not impact the traffic.

This is a great feature HP has...flagging Hubs where links within those Hubs are broken. However, just in the last 20 minutes, four of my Hubs showed on My Account page as having broken links. Only one did. (As in, there was no yellow text when looking at those Hubs in edit mode, for three of...

Has anyone noticed a lot of broken links over the past week or so on their older, as well as some new hubs? Just wondering because I had at least 12 to fix over past week. Most of them were older hubs. But there has been two to three each day. It seems as though it has slowed down...

Hey people. I'm an old-timer round here and I have a beef / suggestionI have 207 hubs most written between 08-11 and they are mostly in the 50,000 views. Some hits, many clunkers. My issue is simply this, if you are gonna change your product selling policy and want only 1 ad per...

I just found a (!) warning on one of my Hubs, due to two broken links to my own Hubs. Clicking on the links led to 404 error pages. But the pages the links were supposed to go to still exist, and are still published and featured. It seems the links should have been good.I went into the Hub and...

Today I have had several alerts for broken links in my hubs that turned out to be videos and all were actually working when I tried playing them,

I noticed today that I've got several broken link icons on a few different hubs. The links go to hubs of mine that are live. I went in earlier today and tested the links and they tested fine but still show as broken. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what advice do you have on what to do?
