   I want to thank the HP team and all of my fellow writers for helping me to reach this amazing goal.  Some of you already know that I have been ill for quite some time.  I had a benign tumor removed from my pituitary gland in June, and just as I was starting to recover, I had a cardiac arrest that would have killed me but for the quick thinking of my husband and a friend who happened to be present at the time it happened.  I was so sick following that event that I couldn't even walk at first, let alone write any articles.  I recently started writing again, and it feels wonderful to be able to do so.  For those who fear HP won't "pay off", let me share that all during these past months, the checks kept coming in...and I was writing nothing, not even editing anything because I did not have the strength to do so.  Those checks are helping to pay for medications as well as medical care and are helping to keep my husband and myself financially secure. I've been at HP for 8 years.  The first few were lean, but I used them to learn my craft, and I stuck with it.  My message here is that if you want to succeed, do not give up.  Keep learning.  Don't try to cut corners.  Let the team and your colleagues help you.  HP is a wonderful opportunity, and you should take full advantage of it.  I never dreamed that one day 5 million people would have read my words, but now they have...and I have all of you to thank.  I hope none of you ever get as sick as I have been, but I want you to know if something bad does happen, and if you've persevered, HP will help you to get through it.  Thanks to all of you for being so supportive, and if I can ever do anything to help YOU, just let me know.  God Bless all of you.

   Thank you for such heartfelt words, and congratulations for hitting such a milestone - 5 million words, wow!  I am delighted to hear you are writing again.
   Just the other day, I was chatting with a woman who had an old Dodge truck with a camper shell and though of you. She was telling me how she manages living essentials while vacationing with her truck and camper shell.  She says she gets her ideas from articles like yours.
