Hi,
I recently came back to publishing articles here on hubpages and I decided to move away from publishing recipes and start publishing more informative articles. However, I'm having a bit more difficulties with these types of articles.
My article about travel tips in Brazil (which I posted about here before) did not get approved on WanderWisdom, which is very disappointing since I spent quite a bit of time on it.
My most recent article, https://hubpages.com/health/Should-YOU- … oronavirus on the 2019-nCoV outbreak did not get featured at all and I would like to know why this could have happened and how I could improve the article.
I added an image and the article itself isn't too short and it is broken down into many capsules for easy reading, so I don't really understand what's the problem with the quality of my article.
Suggestions are appreciated
Hi. Here are some things that you should do. Coronavirus is one word, not two. I don’t think it’s a good idea to say that you are safe from the “fatal” coronavirus in your bio. Though some people have died and the disease is certainly a concern, the fatality rate is quite low at the moment.
You need to find another word besides “strand” when referring to the virus because that’s not a term that is commonly used.
Your Amazon ad should be removed. When you say “Be prepared” in your description, you are implying that the masks that you are trying to sell are effective. There is currently a debate about how effective masks are at preventing the spread of the virus. The masks that are being discussed are more advanced than the ones that you are advertising. Your ad gives people a false sense of security.
You need to include authoritative references for the facts that you have included. Any health article must have them, especially when a potentially serious disease is being discussed.
You have taken on a complex topic here. I admire your bravery. I think that your caption under the first photo is a little too long. It almost needs a capsule of it's own. Your timeline will require constant updating, as already it has been overtaken by events.
I admire your determination to move into other spheres and away from recipes. But you might have to be prepared for frustration and a lot of perseverance. I would tend to opt for the easy route. Maybe you could stick to what you know and what you are comfortable writing about.

Hi all,I've been here a year now and had 60 hubs featured in a row since I started. Just now I received notifications that the last two hubs I submitted were not being featured. The first of the hubs I was given the boilerplate that it may be because it contained spammy elements. The hub was about...
