    Hi Hubbers,

This is my third or so edit on this article and I'm not sure why it keeps getting unfeatured- it even got a lot of views yesterday before being unfeatured again.

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Why does it keep getting turned down?

    Thanks in advance!

I like the fact that you've added the rules for using onsens. You still haven't added references for your statements about the healing properties of onsens, though, which I think is important.

In addition, I think you should discuss how likely the transmission of disease is in an onsen and mention what can be done to reduce the possibility of experiencing an infection. It's natural for people to wonder about the spread of the coronavirus at this time, for example. Since this topic is related to health, references would be good.

Thank you so much for the advice! I. Added in some links to sources for the different healing effects.

I am going to submit the changes, not if it still isn't featured then what other things should I fix?

They say it is do to quality or possible spammy content... But I'm not sure that spammy content would be in it or what content to fix

Did you add information about the potential transmission of infection, if it exists? The swimming pools where I live are closed at the moment due to COVID-19, even though their water contains chlorine or is disinfected in another way. I think people would want to know about the possibility of getting an infection in an onsen. If your article still isn't accepted, I think you should discuss this topic.

Unfortunately I haven't found much scientific information about corona and Onsens.

A lot of Onsens have closed temporarily back in March and April when cases begun to rise. And while since are still closed, many are now open again.

The whole point of an onsen is to relax in clean and hot water. There is a strict guideline to cleaning oneself before entering asv well to keep someone clean.

And unfortunately, I don't know personally how this virus could spread it what the rate is.

I'll try and do more research on this just in case it is turned down again.

There are four plagiarism flagged, about 4%. You might want to fix that. Two of the flags are from the same topic as the article, so that could be it even though it's minimal.
There are some grammar and punctuation errors. You might want to try Grammarly.

4% plagiarism flagged? How would I figure out what is causing that?

I've typed this all based on experience and knowledge from living here in Japan- so I'm not sure what could have caused this? Unless it is maybe from the link descriptions?

Also, could you give an example of a grammar issue? I didn't really see any when using a check site other than it flagging me using passive voice.

Thank you so much for your help! I really do appreciate everything! I just want to make this a good article

I went ahead and checked the article on a plagiarism and sure enough the flags were from the sources I attached today. I went ahead and changed the description and I'm no longer seeing any flags.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention!  I'm sure they would have denied me again because of this.

I think the addition of the references will be helpful, with the exception of the last one. The problem is that that it links to a business and might be seen as promotional. We aren't allowed to promote a business on HubPages. The quotation also appears to be promoting the business.

If you can't find an authoritative reference for the benefits of green tea or wine onsens, I think you should either delete any reference to them or reword the sentences about them. You could say that you're sharing the information because it's interesting, but there's no (or not enough) scientific evidence that the substances are beneficial.

I have a program that checks plagiarism because my clients want me to do that. I have discovered there are some phrases that are, more or less, used a lot in writing, kind of like a cliche.
