An Award For 1 Million Views

   As a writer on Hubpages for eight years I enjoy the little milestones. The closer I became to 1 million views, the more and better articles I wrote. To get views you have to write worthy articles to get them coming back. When my articles reached 1 million views, I was ecstatic!  But nobody else was. I think something to honor the momentous occasion should be provided. It encourages the seasoned writers to keep up the good work!

      Well congratulations on reaching that milestone. I myself have yet to crack 29k views in 2 years, but am happy to know that others succeed where I can not.
      Onwards to 2 million!!

      Congrats on reaching the million milestone. HP does send you an email if I am not wrong and you get an accolade on your profile. The email is of course, automated if at all one is sent.

         As lobobrandon says there's usually an automatic email sent to you on the big milestones, and 1 million views is one of them. Unfortunately, there's a glitch at the moment, and for the last week or so, no auto emails have been sent. Someone mentioned it on another thread, and that's when I noticed it too.
         
         If you look on your profile page under "about" (under your description of your experience) are your accolades. Your 1 million views badge symbol has been added. Well done!

         I remember receiving the email, it was about six months ago. I was just thinking a pretty star or something would be nice. Maybe some sparkles thrown in.

      1 million views is something I can only dream of--I doubt it will happen in my lifetime. This is indeed a milestone worthy of notice. I have not been following your writing but nevertheless, if I had seen a notification I would certainly have written to send my congratulations. As others have noted here, notifications were down last week due to a glitch in the system.

   Congratulations! A post does come up on your followers' feed that you have crossed 1 million views. One can comment on it. I am not sure of badges though.
