Is the following comment justified on my article?

    Hi chenjdw,
Your article has been unpublished because it is an artificially generated article or links to artificially generated content. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may or may not have the opportunity to revise your article.

I have to ask: What is an artificially generated article?

I may be wrong, but I think it means an article created by software without human input (except for the input of the basic ideas to be included in the article).

Or perhaps spun from an existing article found elsewhere?

Yes, you're right, the message may have meant an article created with spinning software.

Here is a the beginning portion, I hope it sheds some light:

It is a more than 2000 years old proverb. The wisdom arose when it was observed that people often got into trouble when they did not know when to stop talking. Even today, it is common occurrence to see that:
        1)    Good friend becomes adversary when a peaceful discussion turns into an argument mixed with subjective opinions and insults that cross the line,
        2)    The person’s trust is gradually eroding when the person talks big without backing them up,
        3)    When a person talks too much, one fails to listen and understand other people’s felling and perspective on various subjects, etc.
There are people who can talk and think at the same time, there are people who talk only after thinking things over, and there are people who can talk without thinking. To be able to express ourselves in conversation is essential to have a healthy family life, a meaningful social life, and a smooth working life. But, when to remain silent and when to let actions does its talking require wisdom, patient, and hard work.
        Argument and Discussion
In an argument, people rely on rumors and repetitive rhetoric to make a point without pausing to listen and understand what the others trying to convey. It usually ends in bad feeling, misunderstanding, and no objective accomplishment. In a discussion, each person presents one’s view with reason, verifiable facts, and persuasive narratives. The other person waits and listens patiently for one’s turn to do the same. A moderator usually presides the discussion involving a large group to make sure that proper rules are followed and the best ideas are recorded down. Many companies have employed this type of meeting to chart their course of operations and find the solutions to their problems.

The wisdom of silence can determine whether a conversation can become an argument or discussion. There is also the thousand years old Chinese wisdom that thinks thoroughly before doing and one out of 3 people around you can have something worthy of learning.
        Trust
It is naturally for a person to:
        1)    Exaggerate one’s abilities to gain new friends, to get badly needed job, to gain an edge over the competitor in a business deal,
        2)    Promise to repay a friend’s loan to buy time, to keep an appointment to figure out how to break it later, to meet the work schedule to keep the job, etc.,
        3)    Spread rumors so that one will not be left out in a peer conversation, to damage the reputation of someone out of jealousy, to twist the fact in one’s favor, etc.
Too many unsubstantiated exaggerations cause a person to lose credibility and trustworthiness. Too many unkept promises make a person unreliable and undependable. Spreading too many harmful rumors chases away friends with integrity and invites unintended adversary. On the other hand, if a person can learn to be silent for a short while to think ahead about the consequences, many troubles can be avoided.

            Thanks for the suggestions.
I started writing on HubPages since 2011 with 162 articles so far.
I had been using the same structured and technical format for all my original articles.
Silence Is Golden was featured for several weeks before it was unpublished.
That prompted me to wonder what is going on.

Even if it's not a spun article, it's badly written, with poor sentence structure and lots of grammatical mistakes.

I'm horrified if articles of this poor quality are managing to pass QAP.

They are not just passing QAP, they are landing on niche sites as well.

I do not see how Discover would fix that considering Samantha said the QAP process is staying the same and this kind of content is already currently passing. It will keep old stuff here sure, but anything new that passes will automatically move.

Chenjdw, staff are contantly looking through articles  so even if you initally pass QAP, staff could come along and deem an article subpar and unfeature it at anytime. Marisa gives you reasons above why it was unfeatured.

Yes, this means plugging in text and having a program rearrange it so it doesn't show up as a dupe.

I'd suggest this person's whole account needs checking as many of their other articles look spun, too.  Even if they're not, they are full of grammatical mistakes.

I've noticed that if someone keeps writing, eventually HP will feature the articles.

It will be sorted out when the new Discover site is up and running.

Also, delete the extract otherwise the original unpublished article could be flagged as duplicate when you get it published again.

To be frank, many of the sentences look spun or translated. The subject and object of this sentence, for instance, is mixed up, "The person’s trust is gradually eroding when the person talks big without backing them up,..." 'The person' and 'the person'. Are they different people or the same person? Who or what is 'them'?
