Guys, please do help me out on how to improve already published articles.
I will be very grateful to you.
Hi,
Here are the things I do:
1. Eliminate unnecessary words
2. Add keywords (Sometimes it helps to read similar articles because someone might be using a keyword you haven't thought about.)
3. Read comments to see if anyone has suggestions or comments that would allow me to add a section to the article or sometimes I can think of a way to add a section myself.
Good luck.
Abby
I often wonder that myself. Then when I look at an older article, I am amazed at simple mistakes, poorly stated sentences, misspelled words, bad capsule titles, ect. Sometimes I find an image that looks better. Sometimes, I find information that adds to the article. Questions or comments can suggest new information that I add to the article.
These are the things that I do.
1. Read the article carefully to see if I missed typos or other language errors when I last read it.
2. Decide whether some sections could be worded more effectively.
3. Decide whether I should add a point about the topic that I didn’t include before or whether I should rearrange some of the information in the article.
4. Check to see whether new information has been discovered about the topic.
5. Check to see whether I’ve used a keyword too often.
6. Fix any problems that have appeared with the photos and videos.
7. Check that my reference links still work.
I re-edit the whole article by checking spellings, sentence construction, punctuation marks, updating facts, and rearranging the thoughts.
Some articles take me a whole day to rework.

Just curious if anyone can shed some light on this issue. I published a very large article on New Year's Day, intended to be a New Year's special, and almost three full months later, nobody is able to find my article anywhere online still. I'd put so much effort into the article in question, it's a...
