On Wednesday 20 Jully, 2021, I login into my feed and respond to threads, posts and comments of fellow writers. No problem. At evening around 6. 45 PM same day Nigeria time, I submit a post. To my surprise the usually you'e not the owner of the account or wrong login detail message appear. Then I know that I know, that I have been banned from participating in the forums. I was angry. But I keep my cool. What wrong have I done? Who did I gyped down? Where is the fact or evidence? Immediately, I email team@hubpages. 2, 3, hours later, there is no response. 6, 7, 8, hours no reply. But I continue to leverage on stories and comments on my feed. But not the discussion thread. 80 minutes later, I hunchly respond to a new discussion thread. How come the window is open when I am yet to hear from @teamhubpages? 18 hours later, the reply came from team that I am not banned. But I have miss or lose some precious time in the forums. Discussions? All are welcome.
You were not banned. It's possible there was a temporary glitch that prevented you from posting.
Matt, that now noted. But why was that not point out in your email to me? Or am I missing something? Thank you.
When you are banned it will expressly tell you that you are banned and an estimate concerning how long your ban has remaining as far as time. This message will appear in red(?) below the post you are trying to make, and will keep your desired comment unposted.
Now you know, for future reference, what it actually looks like when you are banned.
The importance of time in the forums is subjective, and from my perspective it is not something to worry about too much. If you were banned, however, the reasons behind it would be a pressing matter and perhaps worth discussing. Luckily, you were not banned.
Kyler, I thought you miss the point in toto. No notice was ever sent as you described. An email would be send on inquiry. Matt has said it was a temporary glitch. That now understood.
I didn't miss the point, I was informing you of what a ban actually looks like when you go to post on the forums. In addition, I was commenting on your statement about time in the forums.
Kyler, I was once banned 2 years ago. I don't see any detail as you described back then. I protest and argued. Within 24 hours the ban was lifted. It was erro tum.
Cool, perhaps they've changed how they present bans within that timeframe.

I was banned recently and I may get in trouble with Hub Pages for asking this question, but I am very confused and hope someone can help me understand policy. When I asked the moderators for an explanation, this is the response I received. You have been banned from the forums for three days...

I still think comments should be comments, not discussions, that is the purpose of a forum. Maybe it would be a good idea that every author has a forum automatically made in a widget on there profile page and the topics are always the title of the Hub. That way you can discuss it and always edit...

In which cases would you flag/report someone to Hubpages, or even ask that they be banned? For example, if someone slandered your name, would you flag them? Here is a comment taken from a religious Q&A comment on Hubpages: "Compulsive lying with an inclination towards spreading...

I don't mean to be an irritant. I don't enjoy when ppl go off about anything. I am just very befuddled at having two remarks removed from two different threads. Both comments were on topic, but were a humorous take on the subject at hand. My comments weren't offensive or abusive. Is it required for...

Just an idea I'm tossing out there. How about HP declaring on Monday a blanket forum amnesty for all forum-banned Hubbers?I'm saying Monday so that HP has the weekend to mull the idea over.I am not suggesting any changes to forum rules. If HP grants the amnesty, and a Hubber turns around and...
