TLDR: Looking for feedback on how to get my first article approved. https://discover.hubpages.com/money/5-w … ut-of-debt
    ---
Hello Hubber community!  I'm new to hubpages and am hoping to be able to start writing financial self reliance type articles on hubpages.  Unfortunately, getting articles approved in BootCamp seems to be harder than I anticipated.  I've been rejected on my first articles about 3 times now.  I've rewritten the article, added citations and links, images, and spacing between paragraphs but I still seem to be getting rejected.  Unfortunately the feedback from hubpages is pretty limited. If anyone could take a moment to review my article and help give me some pointers on how I might refine it further to get it approved I would greatly appreciate it!

I actually thought the article was well written and engaging. I didnt go through it with a fine tooth comb for grammatical issues but there was nothing that obviously jumped out at me. It's possible that they might consider the style too informal, but I have seen worse get approved.

My guess is that you are being rejected because the article is presumed to be overly self promotional or spammy.

Try this 1) remove the image about the Savings Guy. That should not be your main image because it does not add to the content of your article, just promotes you. Remember a) that the first image is what shows up in the search results and b) is the first thing that readers see. You should pick an image that describes your content. Try looking for some on pixabay.com  2) the fact you only have one link and it is right at the top may lead reviewers to think this article is really meant to promote that link which would be spammy. Try adding more links. I would suggest having a separate box at the bottom with links to sources. Have more than one. One link looks spammy even if it isnt. 3) add at least 1 youtube video. 4) state your sources for your images so they know you have the right to use them and make sure you actually do.

      Hope this helps.

ATSG, welcome to HubPages. I nearly got to the end of your article.                                                But I pin-point  the below picketing points.                                            You write don't have a streamline introduction. Though a reader can infer that. Here you tell your readeq what you're about to do and what they shouldt expect.                                   Then, the body with a suiatble sub-heading or topical title follows. Here you give some detail of the topic again before covering those 8 points in greater detail.                                        I agreed with the others that the first picture is self promotional. Go to  Unplash or Pixabay. Download and instal a dolla or pound image.  And, your next picture should be that of a bank or any financial institution. Then, add a conclusion and a reference at the end of the article. The ref and conclusion should be insert in seperate capsule.

    Hi there,

    My suggestions:

You cannot self-promote at all, so get rid of the first image.

All other images need to be sourced/cited with their licenses. So you'd need to add a caption saying 'Image courtesy of xxx via Pixabay'. All images need a Creative Commons or Public Domain license, or be your own creations.

Your subheadings are not consistently capitalised so use https://capitalizemytitle.com to correct them.

The disclaimer at the end needs to be the financial one, not the general one.

Do a thorough proofread. Use Grammarly - it's free. For instance, your first two sentences are questions, so they need question marks.

    Good luck.
