Do take time to read this excellent article about writing and how to treat our muse.  It gives solid advice and thought-provoking statements.  We all need encouragement and a fresh look on our writing thoughts and experiences.

Great article, Joanne!  I love the quotes especially Twain and Dickens!

The url address in the title goes nowhere. To create a url link going to the article it has to be in the text body using the correct format See formating link bottom right in red to see how.

Pleasure! I like how you used inverted commas on the word "Because"
This reminds me of a forum post I created about the word "Why." smile

            Blessings always!!

I am with you, Ann. I would struggle to post links. How much easier it was when we could comment. Thank you for bringing this article to our attention. Joanne includes an inspirational set of quotes.

Sorry about that!  I missed the end of it somehow.
I'll get the hang of this one day.  If the comments section were still there I wouldn't be doing this in the first place!
Thanks, Misbah, for doing that for me!  Much appreciated.

No problem, Ann. It's nice to see you after such a long time. I've been enjoying your questions in Mr. Bill's mailbags. I hope everything is going well with you.  smile

Just to say, too, tsmog, thanks for bringing that to our attention.
Also, I like your 'Poems of Poetry'. Great examples.

To help you regarding syllables, they are simply 'beats' of a word.

A great article on truly most important tips for writers. I liked all the quotes which have been wisely chosen. I can't under grade any of those 10 tips. Every quote is a piece of great advice. Thanks to the author Joanne.
And, thank you also Misbah. for sharing that link. Otherwise, I could have missed it.

I enjoyed all of those quotes, Joanne.  Thanks Ann for bringing attention to it, and Misbah for giving us the link.  As Ann mentioned, it was much easier in the days when we could comment directly on articles.  I miss those days!

Thanks to Joann, Ann and Misbah. The quotes and comments cause me to reflect and recommit. I intend to have no excuse, going forward, for not writing.
