    Please take time to read this Linda's response to Mr. Bill's Challenge. A different way to tell a story, to pass down an information, and relay it to generation after generation. Better way to say it, to preserve memories, stories, important information, historical events, etc.

    This is a beautiful response to Bill's challenge, Linda. I don't think anyone else writes about food is such a beautiful and loving way. It can change your whole perspective about food. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your article. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and view regarding food.

    What a beautiful and artful response to Bill's challenge, Linda.  You tell the story and history of food so beautifully.  Yes, it is a shared heritage for most of us.  Like you, I grew up watching my mother cook, and rarely did she ever consult a cookbook.  She did, however, have her little recipe box with handwritten recipes from her mother and others.  I still have her recipe box, and it is fun trying some of those heritage recipes even today.  Thanks Gianella for sharing Linda's work.
