Stealing articles is very common nowadays  but gets deleted from that site once they have achieved what they want. One of my articles was stolen from my personal website and I was shocked to learn that. I tried to trace the culprit and suddenly the article disappeared from that site.

I hope my stolen article also gets deleted from the site. It's really hard to catch these culprits. Thank you for the information K.P.

It should be reported, I wonder why articles kept getting stolen. Are there some security issues with the site?

What is the best action I can take? What are the others doing under similar circumstances?

You can try to file a DCMA. I think Misbah did, or try emailing the site owner. I think on Misbah’s thread, Matt from HubPages said they were trying to investigate it. I haven’t bothered to do anything as it links back to my HubPages article and mine wasn’t flagged duplicate.

My case is similar to yours, John. It links back to my HubPages article and it wasn't flagged duplicate. Surely, the HubPages team will do something about it. Meanwhile I just wait and see. Thanks for all the information.
