Seems a window or mirror?                                      Honestly here in Nigeria, every person is serious about having ends meet...the pandemic, the global glutch, you name the rest.                                      And d' you think right where you're no one is serious? How happy is those fellows like you?

   I have to agree with Rupert and Misbah. The current time is difficult and tragic for many people, which is probably the answer to your question about why people are so serious. While to some extent we have to set aside the sadness in the world (or in ourselves) in order to move forward in our lives, people's suffering and their need for help in certain situations mustn't be forgotten.

      The last two years were full of sufferings, fear, loss of lives, loss of jobs, uncertainties etc. due to the World wide Pandemic. Add to this the ongoing war, and it’s horrible consequences.
      Human sufferings anywhere, in any part of the World affects everyone, not only psychologically, but even otherwise, in so many ways.
      But, life has to move on, and we keep on moving, and also smiling.
