Hello I am a new user and author. I don't have a lot of experience with this kind of thing. How do I customize SEO settings for my article to display in search engines? Is it possible on Hubpages? Thanks in advance. smile

You heard Glenn, right? The link given is a study. And, both Brenda and Paul are correct. Thanks.

Welcome to HubPages. You don't need to concern yourself with SEO settings when writing on HubPages. They do all that for you.

However, there are other SEO considerations you would want to use to your benefit, such as writing evergreen content and making your articles valuable to the reader.

In addition, it's crucial to use the features HubPages provides to improve SEO, such as the proper use of capsules. Specific capsules are available for text, images, videos, tables, etc. And you should include a summary and bio for each article.

Glenn is right. You need to study the advice at the HP Learning Center if you are serious about writing and earning here. Failure to do so will make it much more difficult to get any substantial views (and income).

It's not really a question of customizing the settings. As with Medium, HP takes care of the technical stuff. Your concern here, as far as SEO goes, is the writing and construction of the articles.

I would follow the link that Glenn supplied and go through everything that's written at the Learning Center. There's a lot to learn, but it's all excellent advice.
