Dear HP Staff,
Please let us know something about the payments many of us were expecting today, Dec. 28.
Thank you.
I would appreciate a response, too. In my experience, in the past when payments have been late, a staff member has responded with a brief explanation or at least the reassurance that we would get paid soon. This makes it much easier to accept a late payment (unless someone needs the money immediately).

A staff member may respond by saying we get paid "around the 28th of each month," as the Help section states. When we have regularly been paid on the 28th for some time and given the current situation with respect to income, the situation is worrying, however.
I don't think it's necessarily worrisome. I still expect to be paid.
I just wish that some sort of announcement was made straightaway, at the end of the 28th or whatever, as soon as it's clear that we're not going to get the money.
It kind of defies the point when there's a late apology/explanation right before we actually do get paid.

In the past many Hubbers, including myself, have seen the "Report a Problem" or "Need Help" threads as a way to either get a policy explained, or as a way to escalate an urgent problem when emails weren't eliciting a response. It is now obvious that is no longer the case,...
