Hello
I recently signed up for Google Analytics and was provided with a Google Tracking ID "G-SC72RLVBNJ". However, when I tried to integrate this ID with Hubpages, it did not work.
It seems Google has discontinued the use of Universal Analytics IDs, which look like "UA-123456-1", and the Universal Analytics IDs will stop processing data on July 1, 2023.
How to fix this issue?
Please visit this link for Google Universal Analytics ID instructions.
Unfortunately, the solution provided did not resolve the issue. The option "show advanced option" was not present when creating a property. Google has directed the process towards creating a GA4 property
I received an email from Google today saying they'll automatically reconfigure my GA account. Here's some info regarding that:

I received that email from Google too. They sent it because they realize HubPages never installed their new code yet for the Analytics 4 property.
Although we do have time until July, Google was hoping people would move ahead earlier so that more data can begin to be collected. So they are reconfiguring the old code to deliver some of the new data reporting, but it’s not a complete solution and is only a workaround until websites install the GA4 code.
I already installed GA4 on my site and I like the new data reporting features. I’m looking forward to having that ability with my hubs too.
I believe Matt informed us a while back that HP will make the change. Hopefully, they'll do it now rather than wait until July.
Can i keep writing and making some income with Hbpages without linking google tracking ID ?
Sure you can. Tracking is not required to earn revenue. But it is helpful to see how your articles are doing with search results. To earn from your articles, enable the HubPages Ad Program on your earnings page and put your PayPal address in the "Payment Settings" on that same page.
Also, you should follow the guidelines in this article from the Learning Center:

The tracking ID is no longer in the UA-123456-1 format but a GA4 format. See Google Analytics Support website article entitled ([UA→GA4] Data collection and tagging) that discuss this. I could have added a link but didn't want my account closed. Until HubPages changes the format, my account...
