   Hello Rosina,
   Beautiful and fitting tribute to Brenda.
   I have the same sentiments for her. I also love her poems. She is caring and helpful, and she keeps the writers engaged and motivated at this platform, through her word prompts, to keep writing. Inspite of her personal sufferings, she has a positive approach towards life, which I admire the most.

   Awe....I am so touched by your words.
   If you lived closer... I would give you a big hug.
   
   I don't know how, but you always seem to know when I need a friend, and I can count on you to be there.
   
   I remember the time when you encouraged me to write happy poems.
   
   At the time, I didn't even realize the work I posted was sad... until you pointed it out.
   
   That's what friends are for...to keep you on the right path...
   To tell you the truth even if you don't want to hear it.
   
   I am so glad you got to know Steve Carr & have your work published by Sweetycat Press.
   He was indeed a great man.
   
   I look forward to reading and posting my work on Hubpages because there are so many kind and compassionate souls here, and that makes it all worthwhile.
   
   I'm lucky to have a friend like you, who takes the time to check on me.
   
   There are a few others that send me messages, too, and it really helps to keep me going.
   
   Thanks for your wish, but I'm not certain I'm ready...although the thought has crossed my mind.
   I trust God to guide my footsteps in the direction he wants me to walk.
   
   I have no problem with you using a couple of my photos for this article.
   
   It is a welcome surprise that brought happy tears to my eyes.

   Rosina, this is a beautiful tribute to Brenda. Brenda is a great friend and, more than a friend, a good soul at heart. She always tries her best to help her fellow writers, and needless to say, her weekly prompts provide the much-needed impetus for us poets to keep going, come what may. Thanks, Brenda, for all your help, and I pray that you remain happy always in your life.

I give her all the credit for getting me back into writing more poetry. You are a blessing to her as she is to all of us who have become closer through our poetry writing, thanks to her.       Janis, many of us care deeply about Brenda. Yes, it is true through her word prompts, she has won the hearts of many, who take up the challenge and write poetry or prose or a combination of them based on her weekly word prompt. I appreciate the fact that you are also one of them. I love reading the responses of fellow writers based on the word prompts. My friendship with Brenda is, however, bonded through all the help we have given each other since the start of our journey here at HP.
